Draco’s lip curled and he went to release her. Without warning her fingers bunched into a fist, snatching his shirt making it impossible for him to move. He froze, unsure what to do as she stepped forward invading his personal space.
‘I heard you,’ Hermione whispered. ‘I heard you calling to me through the… whatever it was.’ She inhaled, biting her lip. ‘I should have died. But you brought me back. That shouldn’t have been possible. Right?’

Summary
Hermione and Draco are cleaning out the Malfoy Manor Attic as part of Draco’s House Arrest—a deal Draco made to allow himself and his friends early release from Azkaban. They accidentally set off a cursed music box that causes those within the vicinity to… enter a sort of fairy realm/illusion and go lust crazy.

A haunting melody ballooned filling the attic with an invasion of sad, slow lancing sound. Hermione felt worried, then woozy, then nothing much at all.
‘Malfoy,’ Hermione mused. Her voice sounded very far away, an echo softly billowing over the floor like a gossamer cloud. ‘I think… something… might… be… w…r…o…n…g.’
The words lengthened, slurring into gnarled syllables as they fell from her lips. Her tongue felt lethargic and heavy in her mouth, a fat witchetty grub wriggling aimlessly. There was something funny about that and she chuckled, slapping a hand drunkenly over her mouth.
Phantom ice fell coating the room in a freezing mist.
Because it was too late.

Regulus closes his eyes and shakes his head again, looking pained, then he opens them and sighs. "And your solution to this is me? Pretending to be my boyfriend?"
"Yeah. It's actually bloody brilliant, if you think about it. Everyone will leave happy. I'm going to fake date my way into falling in love," James announces grandly, sticking his hand out and waving it through the air like he's presenting a banner.

Or, the one in which James Potter wants to prove he'd be a good boyfriend to Lily Evans and comes up with the brilliant plan to fake date Regulus Black his way into falling in love. It doesn't quite go as anyone expects.

Draco cut her off before she repeated the question. “Granger, you may have my wand, but you're not in control of the flow of information here. It’s not your life on the line.”
Granger bristled at his assertion. “My life is on the line every day.”
“So. Is. Mine.” He growled at her. “Give me my fucking wand and don’t be so bloody obvious when you contact me.”
She narrowed her eyes at him. “I already told you I'd be more careful next time.”
She better be.
“One more thing.”
“What, Malfoy?” she said impatiently, still angry that she hadn’t gotten the information she wanted.
He pointed his finger at her so she would understand how important this was. “You need to learn Occlumency. If you’re captured, I’m dead.”
She stared back at him defiantly. “We both are.”
He couldn’t argue with that.
She tossed his wand to the floor and Disapparated with a crack.
