Stiles reached for his bat. He screamed in pain at the stretch or his damaged muscles. He couldn’t reach it. He hurt. It hurt so bad. His arm felt like it would rip off if he stretched anymore. he had to. He had to make it. His fingers brushed the Nemeton and he lost his breath. It was like being lit on fire. It was white hot as it burned through his body. Stiles screamed in pain. Stiles’ eyes roll into the back of his head and he fell limp.
Not today. He wouldn't die today

"Scott did this to you? Scott?" Derek sounds like he can't quite believe what he's hearing.
"Are you even listening to me? I said that like twice already. We were just wrestling and Scott, you know, won. I'm fine." Stiles had won the argument afterwards, though.
"That's unacceptable." Curt and clipped. "I thought I taught him better than that. He should know his own strength." Honestly, Stiles isn't sure what exactly Derek managed to teach Scott. They're two very different werewolves, and Derek was kind of a sink-or-swim sort of mentor. But that's neither here nor there.
