Setsuna still got all red and flustered every time they shared a kiss. It was cute and annoying at the same time because Konoka would’ve loved to see a more confident approach from time to time. But again, she knew it was a matter of time and that she’d come around sooner or later just like she did with her feelings.
It still got her off guard when that moment finally came though.
INKTOBER Day 2
- Part 2 of Inktober 2019
Alec swipes through the slides on the central screen, looking for the new schematic. It’s much too fast for anyone else to register the equations and formulas and preliminary sketches, but Alec knows what each says without stopping because, well because he’s Ironman. He’s the smartest man in the room.
Well, mostly. He needs Simon’s approval on this one, which it pains Alec to say. Or to even think. But Simon’s got a doctorate in this type of thing and he’s not giant and green and monosyllabic and violent right now, so Alec needs to take advantage of it while he can.
But then Magnus Bane pops up on the screen.
Alec’s hand hovers, his fingers refusing to swipe no matter how much his brain chants goddammit don’t do this now, Alec.
Clary ends up hitting the person who’s rushing by them, right in the head, where she intended to hit her best friend instead.
“Jesus Christ, Sebastian!”
Izzy. Clary ends up hitting Izzy.
Izzy turns around. And as if on instinct, her fist is making contact with Clary’s cheekbone.
Damn, Isabelle can hit.
And damn, does Clary like strong women.
Not the time to be homosexual.
or: An accidental punch leads to Clary Fray asking her 7-month-old crush, Isabelle Lightwood, out. Or is it the other way around?
Anyway, Clary is not surviving this.
29 Nov 2020
It's been a week since Magnus sent the other world's Clary Fairchild through the portal and back to her dangerous realm.
He was quite surprised to find that someone had, apparently, been looking for him during that time.
- Part 4 of Alec Lightwood Birthday Bash 2020
He’s doing a lot of praying. His lips twitch upwards in the only show of humor he can manage during his final moments. He doesn’t remember the last time he truly prayed for anything.
Wanted for something, sure. Wished things were different, all the time. Praying? It’s been a while.
His thoughts are sluggish now. His eyes are closing. His breaths are weak and rattling. Take care of them, please. It’s the last thought Alec puts out to the Universe.
His last prayer.
It is heard.
