    Summary

James celebrates Christmas by drugging himself on powdered thestral-hoof (as a joke), Remus visits Madagascar (it’s sunny and it brings out his freckles), Peter takes up smoking (and quits), and Sirius flat-out refuses to read Nature’s Nobility ever again (he would also like to make it clear that he detests the Christmas decorations in Grimmauld Place).

This version of events takes place from December 1975 to April 1976. There were some animals hurt in the telling of this story, but the boys would like to ensure you that the Giant Squid isn’t one of them.

    Summary

Sirius Black has been dubbed 'The Man Who Lived' and he hates every second of it. It turns out that a lot of responsibility comes with being noble. Just when he thinks the war is over, he finds out that there is so much more going on than he ever imagined.

The last time he had ventured out of his flat it had only taken one meddlesome woman to blow his cover. She had recognized him from all the pictures that had been appearing in the papers lately. All it took was her gasping, ‘It’s Sirius Black, The Man Who Lived!’ and he suddenly found himself being engulfed in a crowd of well-wishers and simpering idiots wanting his autograph. It was bad enough that there were endless owls delivering letters and packages to his flat at all hours of the day and night. He couldn’t go anywhere without someone trying to take a picture of him, or follow him, or propose marriage to him (which had actually happened twice last week).

    Summary

DS Remus Lupin is head of the Metropolitan Police Art and Antiques Unit, ready to take his career to the next level as he joins a special operation targeting organised crime. Hardworking, likeable, and conscientious, he’s on course for promotion to DI. He’ll never admit that he’s bored.

Sirius Black is a forger and con artist, working under the paper thin cover of running an art restoration business as he plots his grand scheme. Charming, brilliant, and bitter, the only thing he cares about is vengeance against an old enemy. He’ll never admit that he’s lonely.

Neither of them is at all prepared for what the other has in store.
