Where some things are inevitable.They say that if you put a frog in a pot of boiling water, it will instantly leap out. But if you put it in a pot with lukewarm water and gradually heat it, the frog won't be able to detect the change in the temperature until it dies.
Maybe they are the frog in this situation. Ignorant. Unaware of what's happening under their noses.
The flame gets hotter. They don’t know it. The water reaches boiling point and - “Wake up, Bam.”
Bam doesn’t answer.

Where crimson red blood frightens everyone else, it excites Bam, igniting his flame and setting it alight. Where screams and ear shattering shrieks deafen others, it’s nothing but a lullaby to him. People drop all around him, because of him, their glassy stares bearing into his back and their vengeful ghosts grasping at his ankles.
Bam doesn’t care, though, and never looks back. He’s too far gone to do so, anyways.
His world starts to fill with red, red, red; crimson dripping from the canvas.
Until it isn’t.
And then blue paints the picture.
