“Does alcohol always make ya this loud?” Zanka grumbles.
“That, and women,” Enjin replies, taking his snarky attitude without batting an eye.
Zanka's scowl deepens. “Gross.”
Enjin's loud cackle at his disgust is enough to make the tips of his ears red. He slides one of the glasses across the table to Zanka. “Here, this’ll help. Take off that edge ya always seem to got.”
Zanka reaches for the glass, avoiding Enjin's surprised gaze as he grasps it and brings it to his lips. He drinks it.
