Well hello there intrepid reader, and welcome to this guide that I am working on. This guide called Behind the Scenes now, right off the bat, I am going to tell you that honestly when it comes to writing and everything that I will be mentioning in this guide there is no absolutely right or wrong way to go about it.
The best thing that you can do is just go ahead and write. To do your best with what creativity that you have. With your characters and your ideas. But this can be something of a starting point I guess. A reference point if all else fails.
And who knows, maybe there will be something good in here.

Because here we go then. On to actually writing. Also there will be a handful of optional writing/brainstorming exercises scattered throughout for you to try as you go along. Maybe you might even find a starting point for a story.

Tommy skeptically eyed the stripped tail of one of the men and then snapped at the giant wings behind the back of the other. The avian noticed his gaze and laughed nervously, “Genetics, aye?”
“Okay, but who is that supposed to be? My weird murderous cousin or something?”
The third man, the one wearing the unnerving white mask with a sad face on it, tensed, hand slipping on a handle of a netherite axe, and got promptly elbowed to the avian.
“Yes. Our weird murderous cousin," he cheerfully agreed.
That was supposed to be a joke.
OR
Protege!Tommy, Syndicate Racooninnit and mostly canon-compliant Winged Tommy all end up in the past, pretend to be younger Tommy's brothers and take him on a roadtrip. Wilbur, Phil and Techno are not happy.

So when he ran from his new foster home in the dead of night, the only person who made an effort to look for him was his social worker, simply to preserve an image.
The only reason he was in this shitty cab anyway is ‘cause some lady called the cops on him for pickpocketing…
When Tommy had first gotten to the police station and given them his name, he fully expected to go back to the overfull home he was in before. To his confusion, the lady only said, “Oh you’re the kid…”
Before he could retaliate, the policewoman told him what he needed to know.
“Some rich guy out of town adopted you while you were gone, you’re his problem now.”
And that was the short version of how Tommy ended up in the back of a musty cab with what few belongings he owned next to him.

Summary
The first times that they meet Derek, they're short and rushed, just small conversations and casual greetings. The second time they meet Derek is when they're both called to the hospital to gain information on a possible domestic abuse case, seeing Derek with a mild concussion and a black eye. The third time they get to see Derek again, he has a split lip and a fractured wrist, with an excuse for each injury that is shown. But people are starting to see through those excuses as the injuries become more severe and the excuses become thinner. Scott and Stiles are doing everything that they can to get Derek out of that relationship before they hear the words "I deserved it" leave the man's lips. Will they manage to protect Derek from somebody that he thought he loved or will the man's boyfriend have his clutches too deep?
