Summary
It's been two years since the invasion during Konoha's chunin exam. Suna is finally recovering from the death of their Kazekage. Konoha is not entirely sure it trusts Suna but decides to send a medic to help with their hospital as a show of goodwill and to test the shaky truce in place.
Haruno Sakura is requested personally by the man next in line to be Kazekage.
Sakura has no idea how Gaara even knows her name when their last interaction was him pinning her to a tree with his sand and suffocating her into unconsciousness during the invasion. She doesn't know anything about him beyond Naruto's brief words of friendship. She's not sure she wants to know him better.
But Gaara is going to give her very little choice on the matter of getting to know him.
