This is unbelievably gorgeous, like you painted the inside of my mind with the scenes instead of just putting words on a screen. You know and love these characters so damn much and it shows and it's impossible for the reader not to love then just as much. There are multiple lines in this I would happily tattoo on my body. Barry Allen is a fucking nerd and every moment of him and his lightheartedness made the seriousness and weight of Bruce's thoughts and feelings easier to bear. I honestly can't even express how I feel about Bruce and Clark in this because my brain is just making little satisfied noises at how perfect they are in this. Diana. DIANA. I'M DEVOLVING INTO ALL CAPS NOW THIS IS AMAZING I HAVE NO WORDS EXCEPT I LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR WRITING THIS AND SHARING IT WITH THE WORLD

well SHIT mother of god SHIT like good god and christ. "is it sinning to want him to love only me? lord, is it sinning to want your son to touch me" leave me here to DIE len how is your writing so good i'm in AWE

Oh this is absolutely gorgeous! Your Clark is written very well, so frightened and vulnerable after coming back to life, yet still so earnest, full of love and wanting to do good. And how Bruce kinda makes him feel safe just warms my heart a lot. I do understand where the codependency is coming from (poor darlings) though.

Also, that Dick and Barry scene was priceless, it's like they're fighting to see who should be Bruce's adopted "kid" (Even though Dick is already Bruce's kid HAHAHA)

I loved how you wrote Bruce being the one pining after Clark, but without turning it OOC. He's still his usual Bruce Wayne self, but so in love with a young man who somehow brought the sun back into his life once again. /sighs/

Your Diana is amazing, she's experienced but still so "heck if I care" about certain things. Honestly, I think she's very Gal Gadot!Diana like, and it's amazing.

"“There are better men to love,” Bruce says, and how did the words slip away so easily? How did they fall from his lips like water, when all this time they’ve felt like fire in his veins, like poison, like damnation."

SUCH A FUCKING GOOD MY GUY

70% theology essay and 30% blasphemy is basically my life.

This is beautiful. 10/10 would read again.
Also "Kal gives him a severe look and sits down again, puts his elbows on the mattress and his chin in his hands. “If you don’t shut up and go to sleep, I’m going tell you a story from my childhood, and I grew up in Kansas. It’s going to involve a lot of corn and white people being white people, so I suggest you take the easy way out.” I snorted, oh you adorable cinnamon roll <3

This is really beautiful. Everything about it is just gorgeous--I love how it comes full circle with Diana and Clark, and I love her being just a force of nature (and Clark listening to Bruce's heart and threatening to tell Kansas stories! And all of Smallville knowing! And Diana teaching Clark to fight!)

I really love how Bruce is forming a team, but he already has a family--the inclusion of Dick/Jason/Babs/Tim is great. (And the dinosaur!) (And Jason showing love with murder bc of course.) I really feel like the family is something missing from the movie, but this makes their absence make sense (Bruce knowing he'd lose Dick if he had called him KILLED ME).
