is it still slow burn if most of the story takes place over a day?

Edited. This is the first really big fic I've ever written and now i actually have an outline. If you read it before July 29, go back and read chapt. 2 and 3 because they're different now.
Set post Spirit of Justice. (So there's spoilers folks!) Phoenix and Edgeworth are newly married, and happily pull out all the stops for a surprise birthday party for Trucy. With a large guest list. There's a bit of a Klapollo focus. AU where Phoenix and Edgeworth are recently married, hence Edgeworth is a out to his office and more comfortable with his gayness. Also, Maya and Franziska are married, with the collective last name of Von-Fey.
Subplots include: Klavier's reason for flirting so much, Edgeworth and Maya trying (and failing) at matchmaking, Birthday gifts that are the right and wrong kind of exciting, motorcycle shenanigans, shameless and shameful flirting, a hula hooping competition, Apollo coming into his own identity (Intersex Apollo on T) *and coming out*, learning they're family, needless Jane Austen references, waltzing, and ZERO cis het relationships. (Larry has a trans gf, checkmate transphobes.)
It's queer, and said word is used occasionally just a heads up.
