the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb by marikishtarisgay (alex_marie1324)
13 Nov 2016
>often misinterpreted as "blood is thicker than water," to say family ties are stronger than other ties, when the real saying means the exact opposite. The ties you chose are stronger than the ones forced upon you.
Marik; bloodthirsty, lustful. Cursed, damned, and angry. Looking for anyone or anything to leech off of. Sees a rather cute looking human man sat at the bar, and sets his sights on him.
Bakura; just wants to blow off some steam at a shady bar. Can't help but notice the rather handsome, tan, blonde stranger who slides into the barstool next to him. Winds up in a situation much bigger than he had anticipated.
While the Golden Army has been returned to standby, an old enemy responsible for initially bringing John and Nuada together moves rapidly into the race to decide the world's fate.
And though one crown is defunct, another of equal (and potentially superior) power is on the rise.
(Third and final part of the series, y'all! It's gonna be a long one, this time~.)
- Part 3 of Those Who Wander
16 May 2019
Wanda Maximoff could do it. She could right what's wrong, fix what was broken.
"Maximoff? What are you doing?"
She could fix Tony Stark.
Wanda Maximoff turned Tony Stark back into a teenager, a kid, but he wasn't going to stick around to find out what was in store for him. He'd escape in the middle of the night, like those cliche movies, and make his way to what would be his only hope to turn back into an adult.
James "Bucky" Barnes.
Winter was trying to live a somewhat normal life, pick up plums at noon and go back to his apartment, but then a kid stumbles into his life. With the promise of fixing Winter and getting the triggers out of his head on his tongue, the kid strikes a deal: help him get to America, and in return he'll fix Winter. And well...
That's a deal he can't refuse.
