“Celegorm,” says Finduilas, aloud, because these words deserve to be spoken into being, into Manwe’s winds and beneath Varda’s stars. “I hate you. I’ve hated you for so long that I don’t know what I would be without it.” His smile fades, the faintest bit, into that demonic, demented grin he wears as a mask. “But- I could not have done this without you. And over these years I have- it has been- I didn’t- no.” She breathes in, and out, and then laces her fingers through his, her scarred palm on his. “You have been a crutch and a shield and a sword,” she says softly. “And what living thing does not grow to love the shield that protects it?”
The smile fades away, replaced by something that would leave him looking very young. “Ai, Finduilas, you-”
“-if ever you need me to walk over mountains, or break your chains, or act as a shield, I shall be there,” Finduilas tells him, and raises his hands in her own to kiss his knuckles, his dear, scarred knuckles, his sweet fingers that will soon be broken uncountable, innumerable times. “I swear that to you, Tyelkormo Turkafinwë: from this day until the Dagor Dagorath, you have only to call, and I shall come to your aid.”

“If I do hurt you,” said Jon, “I’m sure I’ll deserve everything your mother does to me.”
Sansa sighed playfully. “If you hurt me, I’ll be handling it myself. We Starks don’t turn our faces, Jon, don’t you remember?”
“I remember,” he replied. “I just think your mother isn’t half as scary as you, and so would prefer to be handled by her.”
“How wonderful,” she said, and got up from the vanity, coming closer to him. “I’m glad I frighten you.”
“You frighten me,” he agreed, “because you’re so beautiful, and I can’t seem to stop myself from doing everything to you - despite being married for almost a half-year already.”
“So sweet,” she exclaimed, high enough to make him wince; but then she kissed him, and Jon fell back onto the cushions, and there was little enough talk for the rest of the day.

This is how it goes: you stand, and you are bruised, aching, tired and worn. You have won again, as you’ve won everything you’ve ever won in your life: scrabbling, tussling, dust under your nails and blood hot in your mouth. Hard-won, bitter-fought. Victory is all the sweeter for it.

Bookmarker's Notes
You don’t think about it for another fortnight. You don’t think about it at all, not until you hear that she’s arriving- then, you make your way over to the courtyard where her caravan’s being received, making sure to appear only distantly intrigued- and then, then you see her.
Not entirely, of course. The Northerners veil their women, and she is no different. But amidst the swirl of white, fluttering cloth, you can make the figure out: slim, tall, perhaps even of a height with you. Her hair is dark, of the fringes visible beneath the thick silk over her scalp, and her skin just a few shades lighter- but your eyes meet when she alights from her wheelhouse.
They are not differently colored. Brown, dark and as normal as yours, as any other you’ve ever seen. Not green, not blue, not your father’s exotic lilac- just brown, so brown they might as well have been black.
But your eyes meet hers.
There is a snap in your spine. Something cracking, giving way, because this woman- Sansa, that’s her name, Sansa Stark, eldest daughter of Ned Stark- looks at you with the boldness of a woman who knows full well what she’s courting. This woman is beautiful. You don’t know anything about her, know only that you come from two worlds that could not be more separate- and you know that she is beautiful.
She is beautiful, and she is to be your wife.

“You asked what you can do, Sansa Stark,” he says, scrapingly slowly. “And this is your answer: you are the latest descendant of this house, which has scarred this land immeasurably. It is your burden. To stand; to fight. What can you do? You are a protector. Stripped bare, carved hollow, bleeding and weeping to death- you are a protector.” He smiles, and it carves into his face like a weirwood’s tears. “What can you do? You can protect.”
“She’s-” Jon begins.
But Brynden speaks over him, like he isn’t even there.
“Your brother will keep greenseeing alive. Those are older traditions than those of House Stark. But for this war? You will need to fight its most vital battle. You will need to be unfaltering. Stronger than any other. Stronger than even you can imagine.”
Jon’s shaking his head. Bran looks pale, strained. The other Children are shifting uneasily.
Sansa lifts her head, meets Brynden Waters’ lone, red eye.
“Where do I fight it?” she asks.

Summary
Hermes has always been good at offering his heart to people with quick fingers and quicker smiles and it hurts just as bad every time.
And Apollo’s always been a little like him. He’s also got an unfortunate habit of getting too close to mortals and letting them take and take and take even if he can never give.
AKA May Castellan has gone mad, and at first, it's Apollo's fault, then it's Hermes' fault, but in the end, only fate can take the blame.

Bookmarker's Notes
They’ve been alive for millennia and close for as long as Hermes has been alive, so of course it’s not the first time they’ve kissed. But it’s been a while and it feels new and exciting as Hermes lets his long-limbed form, just past the cusp of adulthood, collapse onto Apollo’s lap. It’s soft and easy and their lips slot together just as well as they have the handful of other times they’ve done this.
And still, every place Apollo’s hands skim his waist, his ribs, the curls on his head and his face, it all feels like sunlight dancing on his skin. It’s soft and messy and innocent and in the moment, Hermes’ immortal life really doesn’t matter compared to the slight ache of his back, from where he’s leaning down as he straddles Apollo, and the warmth of the solid body under him.

Bookmarker's Notes
Taking a deep breath, Leia said, “My whole life the only thing I wanted to do, the only thing I believed I should, was help fix things.” She couldn’t look at them. They would think of this galaxy, fractured and broken. But she could only see the Empire, the rot and the bleeding wounds of over twenty years of an unrestrained Palpatine, raking his way through the galaxy.
All she could see was Alderaan, and green, and burning dust, cooling into invisibility in the black of space.
“Some things can’t be fixed,” she said, clenching her fist so it wouldn’t tremble. “Once they’re broken—lost—they can’t be saved.” She did make herself look up (not to Anakin, not to Shmi, not to Padmé, not to eyes that were so damning and familiar…), holding Sabé’s gaze for a long moment before Leia could bring herself to say, “I want to prevent that. To stop things from being destroyed before they can’t be saved.”
It wasn’t exactly how she had put it before, she knew. It was cleaner, purer than those motives she’d confessed to the first time. More honorable, less tainted by the rage she felt eating at her gut, crawling up her spine, burning behind her eyes.
But some of that must have come through because Sabé’s eyes narrowed. “And the things that can’t be saved? That are already destroyed?”
There was no surface behind Sabé for Leia to see his reflection in, but Leia didn’t need to see Luke’s expression to feel his grief and worry. Because as much as he hated evil, if in destroying it he lost her…
Well, she’d been pissed when he’d run off to save Vader for the same reason. More or less.
“They’ll be remembered,” Leia said. “I’ll never forget.”
And the words would have been weighty enough on their own, but she heard her voice say them and knew they were more than a promise.
They were a retribution.

Summary
Four years after Order 66 and the fall of the Jedi Order, a grieving, struggling Ben Kenobi finds himself inexplicably taken back in time, crashing headlong into the foundations of fate. Grasping hope and vengeance with both hands, Ben rebuilds his identity and seeks to change the course of history: by saving Anakin Skywalker, the Jedi Order, the galaxy - and just maybe saving Obi-Wan Kenobi along the way.
Featuring a heavy dose of Mandalorian involvement, overall world-building, cultural exploration, and every star wars plot I have ever wanted to write.
This saga is written in chronological order and is meant to be read from the first book through to the end. It is also written in a manner designed to be just as engaging the second time around, as some details become more meaningful in the context of hindsight.
Enjoy.

Owen Grady had always had a talent for animals. Like his grandfather. It was a talent that ran in the families.
There are a lot of inspired by links at the end of Tainted and Threshold Shift.
Masrani Global recruited him to train raptors. It was an intriguing, novel idea, something only a crazy or insane person would attempt.
Owen wasn't crazy or insane. He knew he could do this.
He just didn't know how deep he would get into it, how strong the connection to the pack would become, how close... they, the four of them, would become to him.
His grandfather had always warned him: don't get too close. Don't let them connect. Well, it was too late for that now.

Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, hoping a direct question would yield answers. The old man seemed adept at side-stepping information when asked a bit more deftly. “I’ve never heard of a Master with your level of talent.”
The old man seemed surprised. “If you’ve never heard of one like me, then what good would my name be? You wouldn’t know it.”
Obi-Wan felt a flare of irritation, and quickly squashed it. The old man blinked, as if he hadn’t expected to feel that, and he smiled, sadly. “My name is Luke,” he said, as if a peace offering.
The force trilled in his ear, and Obi-Wan frowned. "Luke what?" He asked, and the old man, this Luke, smiled wryly.
"Luke Skywalker.”

“There’s...You should meet them,” he said, and looked to her right. When Padmé looked again at the strangers, she found them both looking back at her. Padmé blinked - they both looked so strangely familiar, though she would swear she’d never seen their faces before.
“This is Senator Padmé Amidala,” Anakin began. “Padmé, I’d like you to meet Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker.” Anakin paused, giving her plenty of time to gasp in surprise. She had gotten the connection to Alderaan, but to the royal house...and the man bore Anakin’s family name? Before she could ask, however, Anakin finished. “They’re our children. From the future,” he finished, awkward.
“Children!” Padmé gasped, a hand coming automatically to cover her abdomen. She had always loved children, always wanted them in an abstract “someday” kind of way, but to have them suddenly appear — and so clearly older than herself.

The sun shone down on two lazy shapes in the early morning light, the tanned body curled up around a slimmer pale one in the bed.
Slowly green eyes opened and Ben smiled into Cody’s shoulder, feeling their legs tangled together and skin stuck.
It was warm, comfortable and safe and with nothing pressing to do, Ben let his eyes close again and fell back asleep, feeling utterly content for what felt like the first time in two lifetimes.

Obi-Wan’s eyelids flutter, and then open wide. “Cody,” Obi-Wan breathes, frozen completely still.
“Obi-Wan,” Cody says again, and then: “C’mere.”
Obi-Wan inhales raggedly, almost a sob, and Cody uses their linked hands to drag Obi-Wan to him because he wants to stop Obi-Wan looking at him like that, like he’s being ripped away. He isn’t going anywhere. Cody holds on, heedless of his karking shoulder because someone is trembling and it shouldn’t be Obi-Wan, and Cody’s sick of waiting, he’s sick of it, he doesn’t want to know how much time he’s wasted sleeping, so he puts a hand in Obi-Wan’s hair and pulls him down, and Obi-Wan understands him exactly. He always does. His lips are soft and dry, beard new and strange against Cody’s own stubble. Cody wants to keep him here forever. Little gods, Cody should have let Obi-Wan tell him earlier.
They break apart, both of them breathing harshly. Obi-Wan makes a little wounded noise Cody never wants to hear again, and the only clear recourse is for Cody to hold Obi-Wan as tightly as he can, so he does. A few minutes go by, and then he gives up his internal clock as unimportant and instead tries measuring time in the increments of tension that seep out of Obi-Wan’s shoulders and the way his breaths become smoother. This measurement is much more useful.

It’s not that he’s “hung up on The Menace” as Dionysus so delicately put it. It’s just that it’s a bad idea. Awful, really. Percy Jackson’s got off-limits stamped across his pretty little forehead. If Zeus had sent Dionysus to that demigod camp over a nymph, then Poseidon would certainly toss him into Tartarus if he went near his son.

Bookmarker's Notes
He was starting to get a little lost -- in tanned arms, in the way honey-hair darkens -- when a tug at his hand called his attention. But when he looked, there was no naiad there. The pull comes again, it's meaning clearer now. The river is calling. Percy risked one more glance at the god before chasing into the depths. The water welcomed him, told him its history, gave its name freely. Eridanos. A river carved from sorrow.
Percy shivered as the images came together behind his eyelids. The landscape is the same, it's still Hyperborea but it's marred by a body. A carcass, smoking and burnt. Cradled in the shaking embrace of a god he's starting to know all too well. The stories always spoke of his fury. The wretched temper that felled Cyclopes, an act so cruel he had been stripped of his divinity.
The water roiled.
But this -- with his wretched sobs -- this is something else. They never said he cried. It's the sorrow he's seen before, in the faces of parents after the Wars, when Percy had to curl camp beads into their hands and tell them it's all they have left of their children. He wants to reach out, wants to touch him even when the sobs turn to roars. Apollo looked less like a vengeful god and more like those dolphins, senselessly thrashing against strangling nets.
Water doesn't flood his lungs when he takes a breath but something else does. It feels a lot like understanding. Percy's errant brain idly wondered if he should feel a little grossed out. But the water bears no ill-intent, it feels more cleansing than the Lethe could ever be.
He willed the current to shape into a wave, gently depositing him in front of Apollo. "These are your tears." You cried him a river.
Apollo looked taken aback. "For Asclepius, yes."
And Percy...Percy stared. This must be what it's like to be a Seer, to know truth. Apollo looks just the same -- a startling beauty but he can't quite call it skin deep anymore.
'Well then, these are mine,' Percy thinks, watching as the rain began to fall in earnest, melting into the stream until there's no telling them apart.

Then Hermes spoke.
“You came.”
Apollo felt his heart break. Shatter.
Hermes's voice came out a croak, hoarse from not having spoken for so long.
Or maybe from screaming for someone to come?
“You came for me-” His voice hitched, and Apollo just kept playing with his hair. Trying to be comforting.“You came.” He repeated. He sounded almost disbelieving.
And then a tear rolled down Hermes's cheek, and a sob tore itself from his throat.
Apollo leaned down and pulled Hermes up and into a hug.
Hermes sat up and melted into Apollo's embrace. Crying as he clung to Apollo.
Apollo could feel him shaking. Could hear his cries.
He held him tighter.
Never again.
Never again will he be so careless as to let his baby brother be so hurt.
He pressed a kiss to the top of his brothers head.
Never again. -

“I mean, I know Hera has been pretty cruel, but she can’t have committed that many crimes.” He said in amusement. Apollo looked over at him.
“Just noting some other stuff that I want to remember.” Apollo told him. Percy leaned over, trying to read his ridiculous scrawl but with little success. The writing was murder on his eyes, but he did make out his own name.
“And you need to write down my name to remember it? Is old age getting to you?” Percy smirked. Apollo glared at him.
“I’m not telling.” Apollo muttered grumpily. Percy chuckled and kissed his temple.

Jason is a work in progress. He knows that better than anyone, but he doesn't want that to stop him from being with Kyle and saying the things that he feels. He doesn't want to live his life scared that if he says something out loud it will be taken from him or it'll cease to exist.
Kyle deserves better.
Jason deserves better.
And that ring, the day he went out and made the decision to buy it. Those are proof of the person he's working to become.
He will get there. He will be happy.
And Kyle will be by his side.
"I say yes, by the way," Kyle says, his voice echoing in the dark, and Jason almost jumps out of his skin. He grabs Jason's hand, kissing the back of it before pulling it across his middle so Jason is fully hugging him from behind. "In case there was any doubt, I say yes."

Harry looks at him—nothing more, nothing less, just looks, for a moment, features unreadable yet distinctly soft, like he’s laying eyes on something worth cherishing. The kicker, really, is that Ron can recognize the look already; Harry’s looked at him like this before, many times, really, at breakfast or in class or at Hagrid’s, the Burrow, Hogsmeade—it’s how he looks at Ron, most of the time. Yet Ron isn’t sure he’s ever seen it quite this close, close enough to really take in the depth of it and the way it’s like Harry’s green eyes fill to the brim with affection. No one—and Ron means no one, not his mother, his father, his siblings, nobody—has ever looked at him like this before.
Only Harry has. And Ron’s only just now realizing it.
