Steve comforts Nat after a nightmare of her own, and she reveals a startling surprise. Pre- and Post-Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Most definitely canon divergent.
This was originally planned to be a one-shot, but oops I had another idea so I made it a two-shot instead! *whistles innocently*
Bruce is dreaming and wakes up screaming. Slightly poetic one-shot.
"'I know this is hard for you. But the ability to hold a normal conversation isn't lost in you, my love.'"
He isn't prepared be swept off his feet.
It's a test of how far he has progressed since he began to heal from the trauma of his near death: a journey to a beach hotel with his true love, to stay with the family of a fellow guard from the Eternal Dungeon. All that is asked of Barrett Boyd, it seems, is to be polite.
But a stormy past has led to a fractured present. As Barrett begins to realize the implications of his own past and the past of others, he finds he will have to call upon all his strengths to confront what lies ahead . . . and all his weaknesses as well.

“In honor of Peter Benjamin Parker,” the obituary reads. “2001 - 2017. Peter B. Parker, 16, died on the 5th of February, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash involving a drunk driver…”
Tony can't finish reading. He swears his heart stops. “FRIDAY,” he croaks.
He doesn’t have to finish the order; FRIDAY, as if reading his mind, activates his Iron Man suit and sends it to envelop his body. Tony is shooting through the skies before he even fully realizes it.
OR: Peter Parker was in a car crash—except... he wasn’t. One forgetful Spider-Kid, one sleepy best friend, and one misleading post on social media all lead to a disastrous turn of events, culminating in the arrival of an unexpected guest at Midtown High.
