Inspired by the short story “The Birth-Mark” by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
Spock was hurt and too hurt, but he not know himself, because he chose not to feel it. The strong outer shell and the cold heart are the boxes which sealed his soul from the outside world, The soul, like a sculpture of glass-- full of cracks and ready to shatter if anyone touches. Jim and Leonard were on hand to do everything they could. But everything was too late.
Too late to apologize
Too late for love.
