Summary
While Aang, Katara and Sokka are travelling through the Earth Kingdom on their way to the North Pole, Prince Zuko is never far behind. But only when they meet a runaway girl with a lot of uncomfortable questions do they realize that Zuko is not just a danger to them personally - he could even ruin all they hope to find at the Northern Water Tribe. When their new friend provides her with a perfect opportunity, Katara decides to act before it is too late. Her plan is reckless and dangerous but it might be worth all the risk.
Because where else could she learn more about the true intentions of the Fire Prince than aboard his own ship? -

Summary
A series of deleted scenes, oneshots and alternate outtakes for events from the fic Chained. This is all the wonderful ideas, backstories, short scenes and alternative "what if" scenarios I wanted to add in or couldn't choose between what I decided for in canon and what I had to set aside. Some of it is hilarious, some of it is angsty and some of it is an in-between.

Mind the tags. Each chapter is a different scenario and will have warnings in the author's notes.Series

Summary
Jee's life. Zuko's rule. Sokka's chiefdom. This is a story of seemingly opposing forces--life and death, love and war, old and new--that all exist on a continuum of dance and song.
_____There is an old fisherman’s port that sits on the furthermost island away from the Fire National capital. For decades it bears no name. Sailors and merchants coming and going call it all manner of things: ‘The Quiet Wharf’, ‘Old Maid’s Harbor’, ‘The Port of Wood Rot’.
It’s the last that sticks the longest and so it stays. Wood rot. Woodrot. Woodrott. The wooden piles that hold its pier together had long ago turned gray, their splitting grooves riddled with the warts of barnacles. The village of tin shanties bears the soul of an old man. Sensible, for old men born here tend to die here, wind-dried or pickled, and so it is fitting that the air smells of salt and vinegar and neglected things.
To Jee it smells like home.

Summary
Iroh decided to take matters into his own hands and takes Zuko away in the night after he was burned.
Cannon divergent. Essentially making the firelord more evil towards Zuko and Iroh steps up. Super short story.
Saw some pirate Zuko prompts/headcannons on tumblr and fell in love. Decided that there would need to be a pirate captain to get him started on his journey. -

Summary
"Prince Zuko," Iroh began, but the prince wasn't having it. He stormed away, not sparing his battered sparring partners a glance (he'd already bowed at the end of their match, anything else was unnecessary). Before he knew it he was in his quarters, flinging sparks from his fingers and hissing steam. When that passed, he aggressively lit his meditation candles and tried to calm down. It was difficult because unlike combat meditation came easily, which added insult to injury. Gentle flames licked the air and formed in his palms as well. They were warm and soothing, unlike how fire was supposed to be. Instead of stinging his skin with small burns, the flames numbed the scraps on his palms and the aches in his joints. He knew that by the time his meditation ended he would feel invigorated and new.
His heart burned with shame; no wonder father had discarded him. There was no greater disgrace than having a son who was a healer.

Summary
Being touched by spirits can manifest in a lot of different ways: white hair, exceptional skill, good luck.
Sometimes in the Fire Nation, it shows up as a difficult birth, two horns, and a tail.
Zuko is spirit touched. Agni is a trickster. A tale of finding oneself through the discovery of banned literature.

Summary
What if Zuko actually DID get himself adopted by a Nice Earth Kingdom Family?
And also everyone else he ever meets. Because lets be real, he is incredibly adoptable. Even if that means that by Fire Nation Law, the Fire Sages have to update the Royal Familytree every ten-or-so minutes.
At least succession s guaranteed now, right? In which everyone has a grand 'ol time except Ozai, who somehow lost his rightful place as Fire Lord to an Earth Kingdom peasant after banishing his useless son, and Jee, who has to deal with being adopted by a Great Spirit (and also the rest of the madness. his prince keeps getting adopted by people. this is a problem).

Summary
Ozai aims to kill Zuko during the Agni Kai, not just burn him. Agni, of course, has other plans. He saves Zuko's life, but not his human body.
Zuko becomes a dragon. He has no way to turn back. This (to the surprise of exactly no one) changes things.

Summary
Spirits are interesting things, they tend to make impulsive decisions. So whoever put them in charge of soulmates needs to check their priorities. (Sokka and Zuko think so a least.) When a spirit chooses soulmates they take some of themselves and put them into those people, and they’re souls will long for the other person, wanting to be complete again. And when the pair make eye contact for the first time they almost enter a trance, they can basically see they’re souls connecting. So this definitely causes some chaos when Sokka and Zuko meet.

Summary
The Hundred Years war is over, but recovery is just the beginning. Firelord Zuko must pull back the remaining forces of the Fire Nation in his pursuit for total peace, but when a newer warship converted into a cargo hauler from one of the southern most Fire Nation colonies of the Earth Kingdom goes mysteriously missing on its way back to the Fire Nation capital city, Zuko grows concerned. The crew hasn't forwarded any news on any delays or issues, and the last sighting of the ship was just past the town of Chin where all communications from it suddenly vanished.
Enlisting the Gaang's help to find the missing ship and crew, Zuko is determined to get down to the bottom of what happened. Unbeknownst to the Gaang, what they find will horrify and test their strength of will and their sanity. Old wounds become fresh as they dig through the bowels of a ghost ship and face the fight of their lives to discover the truth within themselves and the ship itself.

Summary
Zuko couldn't believe his luck. He finally had the Avatar in his grasp and the boy escaped just like that. Not only did the Avatar escape immediately after promising to peacefully become Zuko's prisoner, which was a complete lack of respect and honor as he went back on his word, but Zuko still ended up with a very strange souvenir for his troubles. The water tribe boy that he had fought back in the village was still on his ship, and not only had he waltzed onto deck like there wasn't an ounce of danger to be had, but he seemed to be acting strangely when the remaining guards surrounded him.
------
Sokka is a spirit touched moth creature and Zuko has no idea what kind of trouble has landed on his ship for it.
