Until one night. One night he sees a wolf. Not just any wolf, standing on two legs and looking at him in shock. He’s found his first cryptid, first creature beyond nature, he’s found a werewolf.
Armed with a flashlight, a camera, a notebook, and a stubborn disposition, he goes to find the secrets of SouthBriar, no matter the cost.
Though, maybe those closest to him have more secrets than Tubbo had first thought.(Or: Tubbo tries to find some real, honest-to-God monsters in the forest surrounding his home town. Good thing is, he finally found one! Bad thing is, he finally found one, and more are on the way.)

But on the off-chance that it wasn't...
The piglin scrambled up, dropping his communicator as he rushed to the front door of his cabin. The machine buzzed behind him but it was unimportant right now. He barely remembered to grab his cloak, pushing past his door and almost sprinting towards Carl's stable. He needed to go check, to confirm this wasn't some joke or dream. He didn't even bother strapping the horse up, merely hopping on before steering Carl forward and over the fence keeping him contained. He had to hurry, he needed to confirm that this hope bubbling up in his chest was correct. Those four words were all he could hear as he pushed Carl to run even faster, to ignore the stray skeleton arrows or zombies that hid away from the sun.

They never expected that they would fight back against him.

They never expected to hold the fate of the world in their hands.When Niki, Wilbur, Sapnap, and Tubbo are suddenly pulled from their normal lives to help defeat a returning super powered menace, they are anything but prepared. They are even less prepared when they are told they all have powers, which make them nearly the most powerful beings in the world. Nearly because the super powered menace -Dream- was, to put it simply, really OP. Now it’s a race against the clock to gain control of their powers and grow strong enough to defeat Dream before the whole world falls to his tyranny. Oh, and George is there too.
Or: a DSMP AU in which Niki, Wilbur, Tubbo, and Sapnap find out they’re the latest in a line of elemental heroes, and have to stop Dream from taking over the world while dealing with dead family, traumatic memories, and a whole lot of unanswered questions.
Rated Teen for swearing, minor character death, implied/referenced child abuse, and British Streamers in general.
