Summary
YANGCHA is an assassin, sworn to silence to protect the secret of his closest friend, Tagon. When he exposes his own purple blood to the world in order to keep Tagon safe, he is forced to come to terms with his changing role in Tagon's life.
TAGON is an Igutu and the leader of the Daekan Forces. When Yangcha's secret is revealed, Tagon must decide between protecting his own and caring for his friend, who he begins to develop feelings for.
TAEALHA is Tagon's lover, thirsty for power and willing to kill almost anyone to get it. She wants Tagon to become king of Arthdal so she can take her place as his queen.

“I betrayed your trust,” Tagon begins, “and for that I am truly sorry.” A pause. “And I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.”
“You’re sorry I found out,” Taealha scoffs. “Tell me, Tagon, would you have said anything if I hadn’t walked in on the both of you in the act? Or would you have kept it a secret for as long as you could?” She looks him over, brows furrowing as she seems to remember something. “Does he even know what you are? Does he know you’re an igutu?” Tagon nods and she gasps, her hands flying to her mouth in shock. “How? Why? Why did you let him live?”
Tagon’s gaze fixes to the embroidery on her sleeve as he thinks through his answer. The easiest would be to remind her that Yangcha cannot speak and hence he cannot out Tagon as an igutu, but he can’t bring himself to utter such an excuse. But, to tell Taealha the truth would put Yangcha at risk.
“I trust him,” Tagon hears himself say.

Aos 17 anos, Tanya já está cansada de esperar e tão concentrada nos seus problemas de não-romance com Eunseom que ela não percebeu que há alguém em seu círculo de amigos que também está esperando por ela há anos.
Ninguém nota Yangcha á primeira vista - nem a segunda. Na verdade, Yangcha é alguém que poderia chegar num lugar e só ser percebido horas depois, tão quieto ele é. One day before the Wahan tribe was attacked by the daekan warriors, tanya had had his first dream at that time.
In the dream he had, a masked warrior was just standing in front of him with unfeeling eyes and he could not get the answer to any question he asked. . . Even though Tanya had the slightest crumbs in her eyes, all she saw in her eyes was her ice-cold eyes. Those eyes, which had no emotion, also gave the impression that they had the eyes of a cold-blooded murderer.
But he suddenly saw an action in the warrior. One of the chains wrapped around his shoulder starts to go back when he sees him coming right over his hands, but he continues to point towards that warrior with anonymous masked and emotionless eyes. And his chained hand starts to rise up. When he sees that he knocks the chain on him, he wakes up screaming.

Summary
After the Happenings in Season 1, the relationship between Saya and Tanya becomes way more complicated and toxic.
Also Yangcha is fighting with some emotions he had never felt before. Tagon slowly going crazy makes him question many things, and not only him.
Meanwhile Eunseom is fighting his own fight, trying to get the whole ago tribe together.
Fighting for them, he risks everything. But even surrounded by his comrades he feels lonely without Tanya and the Wahan Tribe, a feeling everyone in Arthdal is sharing because in the end, everyone is fighting alone.
