Summary
Before the Quackity Las Nevadas stream, I had made a prediction on how I would've wrote the rest of the story. I was of course, very wrong. But months after the stream, I found my predictions in my notes tab and decided to write it to be a cohesive story.
So: ever wanted to know what the Dream SMP would be if I had wrote it?
The Eggpire becomes an actual threat, Dream escapes prison (without the confusing fight), Tommy decides to face his demons, and a few people "lose their head". Coupled with a country falling to rubble, someone becoming undead, and doom on the horizon: I think you might find this interesting.
If you've been tired of shipping stories and want a plot based one, you're tired of mediocre stories with only 400 words and have no paragraph spaces, or (even if you do like ships) want to read a story with your favorite mcyt people-- maybe even interpret it as shipping if you want, I can't control you.
Please: Give it a try. It won't hurt.

Summary
Wilbur sits against the opposite wall that Ranboo stands at, fiddling with red-lensed glasses, brown eyes flicking over to the other person in the van quickly. His eyes glint with a desire to speak, to let this be at least just one moment he can take the time to share something that could be used against him, but there’s fear, too.
Ranboo takes hold of the branch, and he begins his steep climb of getting to know the real Wilbur behind the trench-coat, glasses, and every single thing Wilbur Soot uses to hide himself.

It's already been a few weeks since Wibur was revived and he immediately went into secret planning. At Least that's what Tommy thought after the encounter with Quackity over in Las Nevadas. He didn’t want to be a part of any more elaborate schemes if they involved Wilbur. He just wanted to feel safe and feel like he isn't being used for something. He didn’t feel as safe as he should on the Smp, at least not anymore. Though there weren’t many squabbles and Dream was in prison, it just made Tommy feel either out of place or unsafe to walk on the prime path.
Which had brought the idea of moving away for the sake of himself, and his newly adopted kid, Shroud.

Truth be told, Wilbur had had this heavy boulder on his chest since he'd returned from the beach trip Tommy led him on that afternoon. It had been hours, but the horrific weight wouldn't relieve itself. So now he just lay there, waiting for himself to work up the courage to come within even a foot of its general vicinity. He knew, deep inside, that it would be a while before he could do it alone, but he really didn't see anyone else prompting him. Prime, he felt like a piece of shit.

Summary
Working in the burger van with Ranboo, Wilbur found, was not nearly as bad as he'd thought it would be. He had been sure that the two of them wouldn't get along, but he found that he was actually pretty fond of the kid. Trusted him, even. Ranboo felt similar, he was pretty sure.
Apparently, Ranboo trusted him enough that he managed to convince Tubbo to visit Paradise Burgers - With their son, even! Either that, or Ranboo was sick of being alone with Wilbur, and that was why he brought his son and husband over. Wilbur understood if that was the case. Either way, it had gone well enough that Tubbo and Micheal were common sights there afterwards.
At some point Tommy must've found out about it, because he started showing up more at the van, as well. His presence was just as welcomed as Tubbo and Micheal and Ranboo.
And with the four of them there by his side, the future seemed to look a whole lot brighter. -
