At no point in the accidental usurpation of Thorin as leader of The Company and the quest for Erebor, did Bilbo intend for this to turn into an exploration of cultural differences (and something that almost feels like group therapy). For some reason, the Dwarrows aren't complaining, and Bilbo isn't going to question it, as long as the lumoxes behave themselves and do as they're told.
Who knows, they all might yet survive this insane journey.
(Or, where Bilbo decides the Dwarves are all too stupid for him to endure this ridiculousness anymore and Does It Hobbit and the Dwarves suddenly get affectionate.)
*Please note, within this story there are mentions of the underage rape and subsequent pregnancy of an off-screen character. Mentions are brief in chapter 2, and a little more in depth chapter 4. While details are light and are more discussions of emotional aftermath, this may still be distressing to read for those with triggers. Please be cautious.

The one in which Tsuna and his friends consciously disperse to the four winds when they reach high school, and somehow, all of Tsuna's classmates manage to fall desperately for him before the end of their first year together. And have to find some way to deal with it, since life doesn't stop just because the most unremarkable guy in their year seemed to become irresistible overnight.
The most popular defense in their arsenal? Is the phrase, "Sawada Tsunayoshi? Makes. No. Sense."
(Or: All Tachibana Ren had wanted was to make a place for himself, away from Iwatobi and the protective hovering of his family. Nothing could have prepared him or the rest of his class for what getting through high school alongside one Sawada Tsunayoshi would mean for them in the long run.)
Multifandom crossover, though KHR and Free! are the main series. The rest are mostly a passing mention. This isn't romance as much as it is learning to keep going forward even when pesky Flame resonances mean things go dreadfully awry when least expected.

The wind rushed through Hitoshi's hair and whipped at his skin as he plummeted downwards. He didn’t even need to open his eyes to know just how close the ground was. He’d stepped off that cliff so many times before that it had been ingrained in his memory. He simply held his arms out on either side of himself and then focused and transformed mid-fall. He flapped his large, purple wings and swooped upwards at the last second, narrowly avoiding what would’ve been a painful death. He let out a triumphant roar as he flew towards the alter that had been set up in anticipation of his arrival.
He landed on the ceremonial platform and roared loudly, which caused the priests and village leaders waiting there to gasp and take a step backwards. One brave, or perhaps stupid, priest stepped forward and motioned to the person tied to a large wooden pillar as he proclaimed, “Great and powerful dragon! Please accept this tribute in your honor!"
Tribute? Hitoshi scoffed to himself as he eyed the blond tied to the pillar, There’s no need to sugarcoat it. You know that you’re never going to see them again. This is clearly a sacrifice.
