The knock came at the door just as Tony was about to go to sleep. He stood perfectly still for a few seconds, certain he had heard wrong, certain it had to be the wind outside that was playing tricks on his mind. For who indeed would be foolish enough to be outside tonight, in the middle of a storm wild and loud as even the Ice-Land rarely endured?
Then he heard it again: three deliberate, patient knocking sounds.

Kylo Ren is the son of an arlessa, one day to be a ruler in his own right. He hungers to make his own name, to find his own glory across the seas, and leads his people to the wild island of Éire with its emerald shores. There he finds a treasure greater than gold- a man for whom he would betray his heritage in a bid to make his own fate alongside the one he loves.
UPDATE 2/26/19 -- This story WILL be completed. It's temporarily on hold while KTC finishes Gravity Well. Thanks for your patience and check back this summer!

“Sigurd’s expedition has been a blessing by the gods, because –” he placed a kiss under Steve’s earlobe, “– I may have brought us something from Gwynedd.” Bucky whispered, almost singsonged, on the skin of Steve’s neck. “Come on in, litill ulfr.” Steve heard him say then.
Steve gazed into the darkness, narrowing his eyes to take a better look: there was a man standing he had not noticed before; little and delicate hands, tiny body-shape, his eyes and hair were dark.
Tony did not know what that was supposed to mean; the language was almost a total stranger to his ears, unused to the sound of it. They only taught a little of the brutes’ language in Gwynedd.
But only in the realm, to the King’s offspring.
Or, how to run away from your father in the most dramatical way during medieval times. A concept by Tony Stark.
