Thirty of your favorite Disney and DreamWorks characters are now children on the Orphan Train! Otherwise known as: Someone whack me upside the head for creating this tragedy.
So, I started thinking about how so many Disney characters either have no parents, or they die in the movies. And then I read a Western novel that mentioned the orphan trains. And this resulted:
Sanity: NO. Remember what happened when you tried to do the Hunger Games with Disney/DreamWorks characters?
Mind: *five minutes later* YES!
Sanity: *doesn't say anything because it's gone*
Anyway, the basic story is pretty simple. Thirty movie characters, now kids from the ages of two to fourteen, are on the orphan train. And every other character who appears (even random passersby) are movie characters too!
I would like to give a HUGE shootout (whoops, I mean shoutout, this Western stuff gets stuck in my head) to my sisters for helping me with this, and for the great ideas (I would never have thought to give Hiccup a crutch!)
This is going to be a long fic, so hold on to your ten-gallon hats!
