After struggling with her magic and the way her friends and family view her using said magic, Willow sets off on her own. It isn't an easy journey to take. Weakened and worried, she ends up in St. Louis and there she finds a community that (mostly) embraces her and gives her a place to recharge her soul and reevaluate her life. She makes friends and forges bonds; she makes a home for herself amongst the kiss, pack, and pard in her own way. When her past life comes back to haunt her at the same time as new dangers strike the St. Louis preternatural coalition, those friendships and bonds are tested. - Part 1 of Fire and Ice
Other title: Lavender Falls
By the time you read this letter, you must have already forgotten who I was
Or why I'm writing to you like this...
I couldn't even say if seven hundred years felt long or short.
All I know is I hadn't felt more alive than when I was with you...
So I hope this time you'll forgive me
But there's something you need to know.
I've loved you and killed you so many times you must hate me...
You must wish I were dead.
I wish I were, but life is too short and death so long.
I'll see you soon... maybe not yet but soon
For the last time, my last goodbye...
As a soldier and knight, Sorey has killed so many out of a sense of duty to his country and to his family, the clan of Ravendalf...
But even for the legendary vampire slayer, the walk through centuries of death and tragedy has never been easy. Wherever he went he was haunted with memories of a silver-haired, lavender-eyed beauty, the one and only desire he has ever had... and the one undying regret he could not live without.
