Lillian had little time for this reflection, the self indulgent past time of a millennial generation that served no greater purpose than to allow them to continue with self righteous indignation, and a level of entitlement and stature that they did nothing to earn or deserve. The entire practice was one of a bohemian lifestyle not really worthy of contemplation and most definitely an inefficient use of her great mind. However there was no way to deny that the little filthy worm had caused her to re-evaluate a few things, not that she was going to sign up for talking therapies or some other such nonsense. She had never really vocalised the emotions that she felt for Lena, it wasn't something that she vocalised in general there was no point to the molly coddling of children it just inflated their ego and made them entitled. However that worm thing had managed to get her to face the truth, she loved her, the following revelation that Lex was planning on having her killed, his desire to cleanse things, something that she had taught him a long time ago but couldn't quite believe he would have the gall to attempt to use against her.

“That was a pretty solid burn, dude,” he whispered, smacking Castiel’s arm.

Steve and Danny's friendship takes a hit after Catherine leaves and Steve's left behind heartbroken and with an engagement ring. He's hurt and lashing out at friends, more so Danny. When Steve benches Danny, the blond doesn't have time to be pissed about Steve's childish behavior. Something weird is going on and when the Winchester's roll into town, he knows it's serious. So he's actually thankful for being benched so he doesn't have to come up with an elaborate lie as he helps the brothers.
Taking down a vampire nest isn't that hard for the Winchesters, but the Hawaiian vamps are slightly different. They're harder to take down and Danny's turned. Being cured, killing the nest, and catching up with his old friends, the next time Danny shows up to work...the team is concerned. But Danny's entitled to some secrets. Even if Steve doesn't like it.
