Rey rearranged the living room again...she liked watching the sun rise through the large front windows. The house wasn't huge...she had been enjoying it all spring...but losing her apartment had sucked. She travelled a while before observing this place. She cleaned for Maz as needed, and in her computer this property was down as unused. It was simply being maintained by a lawncare service. The utilities were paid automatically, most furniture had been covered by sheets. The owner travelled the world, had not been back in over a year...it looked so empty.

Supreme Leader Snoke begins his plan to seduce young Ben Solo, and use him as a weapon to destroy the New Republic and begin his plan to rule the known galaxy.
Everything changes again the Force brings a shuttle carrying a Jedi Master and his Padawan to Niima.

The worst part is that she believes him, so much so that she cannot look at him. She has never had someone offer to go to battle for her. The opposite in fact — her whole life has been a catalogue of self-preservation, of learning how to kill, lest she be killed first.
Infuriatingly, Kylo is so much her type that it leaves her speechless. The dark expression in his eyes, the way his hair falls, the sheer breadth and width of him — not that he’s a huge person physically, but somehow he manages to suck the air out of every room he walks into — all of it conspires to bring her to her knees. Rey swallows hard, trying not to let the thing burn its way out of her chest.

For a moment he assumed she was someone’s familiar, but there were few witches in the area. Kylo sincerely doubted any of them would be so cruel as to have their companion fend for themselves in the streets, especially when considering how small she was. Still, there was something undeniably clever about her.

Something about what she’d just seen felt right, and she had to know why. She glanced up at the man before opening her mouth to say the last thing she expected.
“Can you teach me?”
Alternatively: Modern AU, Rey joins the Taekwondo Dojang of Grand Master Skywalker, and develops a friendship with his nephew that brings them both the balance they need.

A very lonely girl down there, is waiting for her family to come back and the First Order is looking for a powerful force user, which powers are just awaken and the Supreme Leader Snoke is not supposed to let her go that easily. Meanwhile the young scavenger had been really busy repairing an old ship, hoping that when her parents would have come back, they could have had a passage to abandon Jakku without a second thought.

The sign to Niima Outpost was cracking and the red letters had faded to a miserable, pale orange color that was by no means inviting. At first glance, he wouldn’t have guessed it was a place for people to eat at all.
But Ben finished his smoke and straightened his coat, instilling new determination in himself. After all, if he didn’t go through with this, Hux would never let him hear the end of it.

Rey was still new to the area, having only moved there less than four months prior, thus she was as yet unaware of many of the local nobility. Something about the man caught her attention, causing her to ask her companions, “Who’s that man?”
Finn followed her line of sight and then cleared his throat. “That’s Ben Solo, Duke of Ren.”

Despite a very poor first impression, Rey has found herself forced to wed the mysterious and intimidating Ben Solo, Duke of Ren. The marriage is deemed highly scandalous by society as Rey is no more than an orphan living on the good graces of Mr. Unkar Plutt. Rey, now Duchess of Ren, finds herself forced into a role for which she has no training, with a husband who does not even seem to like her.
