Summary

Summary
Sherrezade was but a shadow of the formidable woman she had been when they had wed, but then, Ja’far had lost all spark the day they had come home, too. It was a journey to desperation they had taken together, if anything. Never once had he entertained the thought of parting from her, no matter how often Sherrezade offered him the chance. This was a sorrow they were meant to share together and, in pain as he was, at least he suffered with her.
When a mysterious young girl who looks suspiciously like his wife knocks at their door, Ja’far and Sherrezade are forced to reconcile with a painful past they have yet to fully grieve. But perhaps the future holds cards brighter than any of them could have expected. A journey of lost and found again.
