Generally, Little Sisters remember either very much or very little about their time in their ADAM-induced fairytale.
Genora, however, remembers it all.
She knows exactly what the remaining Little Sisters in Rapture are going through and what they feel, not to mention her fellow Big Sisters. Left with nowhere else to go after Subject Delta, Sinclair, Grace, Sofia, and Eleanor escape the sinking city, she begins to break free of the delusion she and so many others were once under. Now without the goals of protecting the Daughter of the People and the Family, Genora decides to seek out her surviving sisters in Rapture. They, too, she discovers, have shaken off the chains that the Rapture Family once bound them in, and together, they strive to finally find the peace that they were denied.
Genora and her sisters, with their extraordinary powers, not only manage to survive, but thrive, in the ruins of a dead man's pipe dream. But the many dangers of Rapture, both within and without, mean that their jobs as the city’s stalwart protectors are not over yet. -

Jack finds himself in the crumbling underwater city of Rapture and also finds a very helpful man named Atlas. With Atlas' help, he carves a bloody path through the city while trying to escape it and discovers that he's not a very good person and Rapture is exactly the place that he wants to be.

They had just left Pauper’s Drop when suddenly a tragedy struck. Sinclair ran out of smoking material! 10 years living in Rapture after its fall, & it had to happen now. Oh well, only thing to do now is to head out & pick up some more. But the sudden detour outside of the train cart ended up being a bigger adventure than Augustus had expected, & now Delta refuses to let him out of his sight. This couldn’t be any worse.

For Delta being a Big Daddy was like one long seemingly never ending dream where the only thing that mattered was Eleanor’s safety and happiness. Having his child kidnapped, being killed, and then getting revived ten years later with his free will restored was like an extraordinarily rude awakening from said dream. Rapture is now a city of nightmares, and Delta has to navigate this living nightmare with nothing but voices of people he doesn’t know to guide him forward. At first his only goal is to find Eleanor, and find some way to escape from the doomed city so that they can both see the sun. However, a single comment from one of his only allies gives him pause.
“There are others I must help before the city drowns.”
That one comment causes Delta to think. How many more people are trapped in this underwater nightmare? How many other innocent people just want to escape and see the sunshine again like him? He doesn’t know, but he does know one thing. If he finds anyone that can be saved he’ll do his best to help them, and if he’s lucky he might be able to help them see the sunshine again too…
Or basically Delta decides that he going to save as many people as he can so they can see the sun.
