Between moving headquarters and trying to calm tensions post blip, none of the surviving Avengers seem to do more than working and sleeping; eating had long ago become optional. Natasha has not gotten a moment to leave the compound alone in weeks and she was really looking forward to her motorcycle, the crisp fall air, and no staring eyes that won't quite look at her. Yet just because the Red Room did not let the Widow die, does not mean everyone is as thrilled with the idea. When Hydra returns, The World’s Shittiest Club tries to recruit a new member and Bucky decides that if he going to be the emotionally stable one, he really wants a damn nap.
How do you pick up the pieces when the dust has finally settles? When victory comes at too high a cost, can you savor what you were able to save while mourning what was lost? Can anything bring together a team drowning in guilt?
