Sniper and Spy argue over who knows Scout better to see who gets to choose what is done with him - stay as Spy's son or be Sniper's boyfriend?
"Okay, what does Scout do in the bathroom every night?"
"Haha, right. It's called wanki-"
- Part 2 of Sniper vs Spy
For most of his life, Jeremy— better known as "Scout" to his teammates— thought his father was a mystery guy who'd passed away. Then, he finds out that his dad is his idol: Tom Jones.
It's the greatest lie Scout's ever been told.
Cut to the day that Pauling finally agrees to spend a night out with Scout. It's more enjoyable than she expected— she didn't realize Scout had such a charming side. But Pauling knows the truth about Scout's father; that he's the Spy that they work with, day in and day out. And it hurts Pauling to hear Scout go on about how great Tom Jones is, and how awesome it is that Tom Jones is his father.
It's impossible for Pauling to keep the secret. It's just as impossible for Scout to believe it.

A series of oneshots with the RED and BLU Team and the Tales of Arcadia Characters...
The clues had always been there, he had just never wanted to see them. Maybe neither of them had, instead content to deny the truth before their eyes for the rest of their days because it was better than confronting the alternative. Except Scout had died, and Spy wasn’t able to keep on pretending for his last moments. A part of Jeremy was glad for it, despite the simmering rage and betrayal and hurt.
So when he tried to look God in the eye and tell Him that Tom Jones was his father... He couldn’t. Not really.
(Scout discusses his parentage with God, and stays dead for a little while longer. Well. A lot longer.
On the plus side, he gets to attend his own funeral reception.)
