Summary
A brief piece I wrote about Vex shortly after the loss of her brother.
————
Been thinking about the twins lately, so I wrote this. Originally this was written as a daily journal entry for my creative writing class. Of course I left Percy’s name and Whitestone as a generic reference of “him” and “The town” and didn’t mention Tal’dorei at the end, with Vax’s name purposely not being mentioned at all in both versions for *gasp* dramatic effect. I’m *NOT* about to reveal this as a fanfic to the whole class!

Summary
“Will you stay safe?”
“Kima, no one is safe here and I am not hiding away to make you happy. I love you, my lady, more than anything, but I have to do this.”
“Allie—“
Allura kisses Kima fiercely, a hand on her cheek and slightly desperate. “I’ll make you the same promise you made me: I’ll be as safe as I can.”

Summary
Vox Machina has defeated Vecna, said goodbye to one of their dearest friends, and are ready to start off their retirement with a long night of sleep and grief.
Naturally, Grog interrupts this with another perfectly-timed reckless decision.
Would have been canon compliant before the "Search For Grog" retcon but is now (briefly) canon divergent.

Gilmore’s feelings toward Vax’ildan are complex. Loving someone who puts you first is easy. Loving someone who forgets you exist for months at a time–among other war crimes–is something else.

Summary
On a few occasions, Percy takes some time to reflect on the weight of his names, and the weight of the names that he and Vex will give their children.
Will include most of Percy and Vex's (potential) children if I continue this.

Summary
Percy is a problem solver, but there are some things he cannot fix.
(Percy likes to outsmart his problems. Sometimes that problem is a broken bauble or a tinkering conundrum. Sometimes it's a reckless brother and his pact with a goddess that tells sad 20-somethings that they're broken and beyond redemption. Sometimes the problem is a sad 20-something who misses his family.)

Summary
Vex’s eyes can’t pierce illusions, and her magical talents are small and shoddy in the face of those like Keyleth and Scanlan, but that doesn’t change the fact that sometimes, she sees things she shouldn’t. Things that nobody else does. But then, none of them has died as many times as she has.
Or, Vex'ahlia and her ghosts.
