Viktor hears Jayce rise as he turns back to the blackboard. He nearly jumps at the tentative touch of Jayce’s fingers on his shoulder. Jayce is larger than him but gentle, his voice soft as he says, “Our Hextech dream.”
Jayce’s hand drops back to his side, leaving Viktor feeling oddly cold as they both stare at the blackboard.
“Are you sure, Viktor?” Jayce asks quietly.
Viktor has never been more certain of anything in his entire life.
Viktor and Jayce's developing relationship from research partners to friends to something else entirely through the events of Arcane.

The hand on her mouth eases its pressure, then pivots (Vi’s thumb brushes along her bottom lip), and now rests against Caitlyn’s cheek as she catches her breath. “Vi,” she whispers once she finds her voice again, “I’m so—”
“I have nightmares about her, too,” Vi interrupts, and Caitlyn hates that the room is too dim to see her face. “Just a different kind.”
How many times can Caitlyn’s heart shatter for the same person?

As Jinx goes into hiding, Vi tries to repair her relationship with Caitly. Caitlyn struggles with stepping foot in her room without memories of what jinx did, and she finds it hard to let Vi in once more.
Jinx left a mark on any, marks that went from mental scars to physical ones, some even resulting in death.

He looks over you eyes not staying in one spot. He walked closer to the counter with the same limp he's always had. "You're a lot taller than you use to be," he said calmly.
"Still not taller than my old man," you let out with a laugh.
He smiles as his body relaxes and a smile forms on his face. The cane at his side makes a noise as he leans more against. The smile on his face only stammers for a second as he takes another looks over you." We have a lot of catching up to do, old friend."
