6 Works in Selina Kyle/Bridgit Pike
“So when I joked about you and her being girlfriends, I wasn’t too far off?”
“Shut up! Look, fine, I’ll do it on my own.” Selina started to get up, prepared to leave.
“No, wait, wait, I’m sorry. Just didn’t think that was your type is all.”
“I don’t have a ‘type’.”
“I get it, listen, I don’t really have any advice, just...Take her someplace you know she’ll like. Be yourself.”
“Be myself? Sorry, that usually doesn’t work out too well.”
“Short version: Hugo Strange cloned one of us after we got the overdose so he could have a version to play with. I don’t know which. I only found out, like, three weeks ago. Thankfully I don’t start med school for another two months. My friends and I found that Arkham warden you got fobbed off on, then the gang he sold you to, and now we’ve got you, okay? Jonathan Crane is not going to get screwed over again on our watch.”

- Part 7 of Made to Measure
Fish Mooney was betrayed and found herself trapped far from home. Having slain Hugo Strange, she's made Indian Hill an underground society worth ruling and adopted Bridget Pike. If only her other ward, Jonathan Crane, didn't yearn so much to leave. She needs his unique powers for the day she can emerge and exact revenge on Oswald Cobblepot.
Now Oswald and others have stumbled upon her domain. Time to improvise.
A collection of loosely linked stories. Ed's successfully conditioned his cousin from FBI agent Dr. Spencer Reid to honorable supervillain the Reader. This is not an entirely comfortable thing. Ed's protege Jonathan juggles his mental health, studies, and questionable hobbies. Assassins are adorable, to each other at least. Young ladies who kill together chill together. All while the Kings of Gotham are happily married, to the mixed feelings of the city in general.
Tags will evolve as they become applicable when new ficlets are added. So far we have:
1. Bantam Begins - There's a chicken.
2. J. Crane Sexual Experimentation Log - Because good scientists take notes.
3. Of All the Trees That Are in the Wood - 20-year-old Harley falls into the world of crime, and also for Ivy.
4. & 5. If You Would Stem the Tide - A two-part story about Jonathan temporarily but horrifically relapsing.
6. & 7. Render Me a Wreck - A two-part parallel to the previous story, from Ed's perspective.
- Part 6 of Made to Measure
“Oh my God,” Selina groaned, thumping the table. “Shut up the nerd squad already!”
“There aren’t any situation-appropriate means I could use,” lamented Oswald, in solidarity.
[Gotham characters play Cards Against Humanity. Readable as a stand-alone or as part of either writer's fic-series, as per the notes.]
