Summary
Olivier had only then truly understood what it meant that she was betrothed already, to a prince not even born. She’d be much older than her husband, would probably carry many burdens in his stead, would maybe even have to rule. When seeing how the other young girls her age talked about betrothals and what was expected of them, she felt like she’d gotten almost lucky.
Looking back on these memories of her childhood-thoughts, she questioned if luck had truly had a hand in her fate, or if it maybe was something else. Was taken with how things had changed, how different the truth of the now was from the one she'd known before. Yet Olivier knew that she'd take it on, whatever may be.

He has also been getting in touch with his culture a bit more since the Mustang wedding-- a culture of stories, after all. And what good are stories if no one is there to hear them? ...even if he has to tell these stories to people from outside his own culture.

Summary
The air in his lungs burned with his next inhale, and pain ricocheted up his arms as they gave out. Someone was screaming and as he choked on the liquid copper flooding his mouth and felt something give torturously inside of him he thought it sounded almost like Maes, before he was consumed wholly and thought of nothing more beyond white all encompassing.
Roy Mustang tries to bring Maes Hughes back to life; it sets off a chain reaction.

After enabling her country to commit unspeakable horrors Micah fled her military life. Incidentally, She and scar perform two halves of human transmutation with the wall of Xerxes as the entry point through alternate times. Scar attempts to sacrifice himself hoping to cease existing which paid the toll for her deconstruction. Nothing is free however and while Scar paid the toll to get open the gate Micah still must pay for them both to cross it. Upon crossing through she accidentally left his gate open.
