And, honestly, George wouldn't have it any other way, no matter how utterly exhausting (and expensive) it was to help mend the wounds of a world-famous superhero. But he supposed that's what he got for falling for his best friend.

Summary
If you've told Sapnap that he'd be up against goddamn zombies of all things with a group of people he barely knew, he'd laugh at you.
Or atleast, he did laugh at the man, Karl, who showed up and told him that about three years ago.
Now tho? Now, he just hopes that whatever saviour Karl mentioned can actually help them.
OR
Sapnap is a loner, he stays away from people and sticks with his team. Karl, seeing the awful future, used his powers and might not have long left to fix everything due to his bad health.
Punz...well, he seems to be having some fun atleast.
According to Karl, to fix everything, they should find each and every member of the perfect team.
Assemble it together and make sure they all live.
Worst thing? They would still need to find a guy who's powers can fix this while knowing nothing about him.
Then, they must get that one guy to actually be on their side. Find out who he is in the first place.
But....once they do find him, Sapnap realizes that maybe he shouldn't have listened to the time traveller, afterall. Because....he can't pretend like he is not falling for the supposed saviour.

“You have fire powers,” Karl says. “You’ve known Dream since you were a child. He is the one who chose your name, because you love pandas. You had a goldfish called Mars when you were young. You had a stuffed fox too; you named it Sketcher. I-” He pauses to think. “[…] You think of Dream and George as your brothers. You thought of Punz as your brother too, but you never told Dream that.”
Sapnap cannot say a word. He stares, eyes wide.
The things that Karl listed are not things that the general public knows. These are small details that only his closest friends know. These are secrets that Sapnap never ever voiced – he never told Dream or George about Punz. He never ever explained that his grief for Punz is so strong because he was like a brother to him.
It's terrifying.
Karl looks at him, so earnest, his lips trembling. There’s wetness in his voice when he finishes. “And you love me,” he whispers. “You told me you loved me.”
It’s terrifying. It’s abnormal, it’s worrisome, it’s alarming.
And the scariest part is that Sapnap believes him.OR: the Dream Team are superheroes; Karl is a random guy who walks in and declares that he knows Sapnap.

“Well.. what are YOU doing in an alley at night?” That was the stupidest come back any teenager would make. The footsteps start again and the figure finally comes into view.
“Oh my god are you bleeding? What the hell?!” Pretty sure there was a whole path of blood behind him.
“No.”
“What do you mean no you obviously are. No one is stupid enough to ignore a giant patch of blood.” Maybe he was.
“Mmmm.. I beg to differ.”
“Oh really? So the knife in your side is just invisible?”
“Yup.”
“That’s the stupidest thing I’ve heard all night.”
“I bet it is.” He looked as if he was about to pass out. Every average person would’ve passed out by now from blood loss but somehow he’d managed to stand for as long as he has. That didn’t last for long before he collapsed.
