Summary

A body rising from the dead had been stories whispered around campfires to ignite fear; not something that happened… Wasn’t it?
Insert Seth Gecko, President of the Hellhounds motorcycle club. Blood stained the outlaw’s hands. His lifestyle choices felt like they were coming back as a reckoning. He was aimlessly lost, somehow still managing to survive every ghastly thing life had thrown him. Now add on spiraling without his brother. Could the end of this shit show really be all that bad?
The swarming city of Shreveport, LA was witnessing the end of the world as they all knew it. An airborne contaminant was causing the dead to rise. As society begins to crumble, the unlikely duo of a thief and a young mortician find themselves pairing together as a means of surviving.

Kate raises an eyebrow at him questioningly. “What, you think this is funny or somethin’?” She teases, and Richie realizes he’d started smiling again without even noticing.
“Maybe I do. What, is that a crime? You gonna lock me up, Sheriff Katie?” he cracks back, waggling his eyebrows at her. He offers up his wrists to her with a devilish smirk, “Go on, cuff me.”

He turns around, back toward Kate, to make sure she’s following them. He’s not leaving her behind again. Not ever again. He did it once and he’s pretty sure he’ll feel guilty and have nightmares about it for the rest of his life. Rightfully so.
But when he looks back at her, she’s not walking to them. She’s ripping at Amaru’s coat, struggling to get it off like it’s a living thing strangling her. Then she falls to her knees in the dirt and doesn’t move again.
He’s running to her before he’s made the conscious decision to, practically sliding down to a stop in front of her.
“Kate,” he says as he crouches down. Her head is thrown back toward the sky, her throat bare and vulnerable, her eyes closed. He wants to pull her to him, to cup her face between his hands and shield her with his entire body, protect her from the rest of the world.or, the events of "everywhere at the end of time" seen through Seth's eyes.
