The mighty Electro Archon, Ei Raiden has always sought out eternity, an everlasting nation where Inazuma could be safe and protected forever. As such, she sees fit to enforce the Vision Hunt Decree to strip people of potential threats to the nation. However, after dispatching herself to deal with a problem in a distant merchant village. Ei encounters a peculiar situation in which she decides to place her trust in an unknown person, seeing his potential. However, Ei gets more than she bargained for when his words and actions cause her to question this "Eternity"
A mysterious stranger finds himself in Inazuma with no idea exactly who he was or how he got there, his memory nigh completely stripped. But through a series of events, he meets and attracts the interest of the Raiden Shogun. The stranger will unknowingly change Inazuma for the better, starting with finding out where he should plot his course, being in a strange and unknown world
On another front, many years later, a mysterious Traveler sails to Inazuma in search of answers for his lost sister, for answers with his friends. He eventually comes into conflict with Inazuma’s recent decrees and laws, seeking answers from the nation's Electro Archon

How did Beidou come to meet Kazuha and why has she been missing in the story up till the Inazuma Archon Quest?
A fanfic set in Inazuma after the liyue story arc and Childe story quest. Revolves around Beidou, Kazuha, Scaramouche and the Second of the Harbingers, Il Capitano.
This is a direct prequel to the Electro Arc of the Official Genshin Impact Game too, so you can expect this fanfic to be as ‘canon’ as possible by tying up all loose ends before it leads to the beginning of the traveller’s story in Inazuma.
Also, I began writing this fanfic before the archon quest for inazuma got officially released, so read on to see how I managed to improvise and implement the canon aspects of the plot into my story as they pop up in the game haha :DDo leave comments to theorize what happens next!

If Childe had been paying attention and turned around he would have seen Pulcinella with his head in his hands, a Harbinger in a floppy orange dress rubbing his back. The only thing stopping Scaramouche from bursting into laughter was a glare from Signora, whose fingernails were biting into her palms with such force as to break the skin. Capitano actually let out a chuckle before covering his mouth and then Dottore’s, who would have bitten him if his mask allowed it. Sandrone looked ready to blow a gasket, which as always his dog ears flapping ruined the intimidation that might have caused, and Pantalone next to him looked as unaffected as ever. And Colombina… well it was hard to tell if she just didn’t care or was actually seething. Probably somewhere in the middle. Pierro was very proud of his fellow harbingers.
Childe thought the most challenging part of being the Tsaritsa's Vanguard was going to be the eventual rebellion against Celestia where they were all likely going to be decimated. However, somehow navigating his relationships with his fellow Harbingers was a worse minefield, yet a path he wanted to walk all the same.

Summary
After many succeeded missions, the Tsaritsa decides to host a celebration. Everyone affiliated with the Fatui is invited, and the Tsaritsa even allowed the harbingers to invite their friends. Scaramouche, the infamous everything-loather, wasn't planning on inviting anyone, until he reunited with the friend he thought was long gone, Kaedehara Kazuha, on a mission to Inazuma just a few days prior to the party.
The Fatui know Scaramouche as a cruel, selfish man. Some of them, like Dottore and Pierro, know him as an item. But the Tsaritsa Herself? She knows Scaramouche as someone lonely. Either way, they all think he's incapable of love. He should be. With an artifical heart in his body, replacing what should've been a gnosis, He really shouldn't be able to feel love. So, of course it's that everyone, including him, is surprised when he even INVITES a person, even more when they start getting romantic.
