Summary
Doreah opened her eyes and pointed at Beth Cassel, her hand wavering in time with my horse’s steps.
“You’re pretty,” she said, her words still slurred. “I’d do you too.”
“She is affected by the poison and the antidote,” I said. “She is not responsible for her words.”
Beth eased her horse close and touched the side of Doreah’s face.
“I’m sorry I was cross,” she said. “I’m glad you weren’t killed by those bitches.”
“Me too,” Doreah said. “Stabbed Arianne in the boob. She died. Never liked that bitch. Call me whore. Dejah killed the rest. Kill them all dead. ’Cept Obara. Stab her in the gut and left her die, own poison. Gave me anti . . . antidote. Better now.”
“Sleep,” Beth said.
“Yes. Dejah good. Sleepy now.”

John Carter and Dejah Thoris of the Burroughs novels are mis-directed to the world of Game of Thrones, fulfilling two separate prophecies. Carter is a Confederate officer; his ideas might be considered unenlightened. Dejah is very good at killing people, but she feels bad about it.

Summary
Out of the corner of her eye did she see him constantly. Glimpses of a black cloak, black hair – the same sullen expression that she had come to love. Once during a feast she had sworn to hear his voice drifting over the quiet conversation of the high table.
Do you ever think of me?

Summary
The Age of Heroes never ended. Aegon never conquered. The North remained.
There was a time once, when the Kings of Winter ruled the North. However, it all fell into chaos, when Torrhen Stark tried to bring about an age of peace between the kingdoms, only for war to start again. The kingdoms fought, and their underlings rose up in rebellion. Like it had been a thousand years ago, a hundred kings came to rule their part of Westeros.
Now a bastard of Winterfell has arrived home again. He found only a dead father and a dead brother, and a crown upon his head. Jon Stark, though, remembered seeing a King Beyond the Wall, a man who could bring an entire people together. He would follow Mance Rayder’s example, and unite the North. Winter Is Coming.
Also, the Starks all have direwolves, are open wargs, occasionally engage in incestual marriages, and Jon takes Arya and Sansa as wives.

Summary
Roose Bolton visits the Twins looking for a wife for his bastard, Ramsay. He returns home with more than he bargained for.
****************************************************
This story features an OC named Meryll Frey. When I was looking over the family tree of House Frey, I noticed that it was mentioned that Merrett Frey fathered four daughters before having a son, but only three of the daughters were named. Two of the named daughters were familiar to me -- Fat Walda and Gatehouse Ami. And the son is also somewhat prominent in the book -- Little Walder, Ramsay's squire. So to me, this was a very interesting family, and I started to wonder about that fourth daughter ... and that's where Meryll came from!Enjoy!
