“I suppose”, she drawls, still not very excited at the idea, “We are heading to my castle.”
And Emma’s eyes almost bulge out of their sockets as well as her mothers.
“Your castle?”, they question in unison.
“What kind of Empress am I without a lavish castle?”, she snarks, seemingly uninterested in the way they seem to balk even more at this information.
“Empress?”, Snow is the first to recover, “The last time we visited there was only a village and Cora destroyed them. You mean to say there's an entire empire built within a year?”
“Dear, you seem to be misinformed”, chuckles the woman, almost bitterly, “For you it’s been a year, but for us it’s been over a decade.”

After Cora's death, instead feeling guilt, Snow sentences Regina to her fate before she can get revenge. A year later, the fairies have discovered a way to rework the curse to return them to the enchanted forest, but it isn't at all like how they left. It also turns out, their return was prophesied to mark the start of a war between the gods and mortals. Emma and Snow are thrown into a new world ruled by a brunette with a famously short temper and they must team up with her to stop a war before it can begin.

The SwanQueen version of my favorite film, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Some of the dialogue will be taken from the movie (but not all!) and the story will follow the basic plot, but the details and characters will be vastly different. I do not own Once Upon a Time or Scott Pilgrim in any way, shape or form, although it would be awesome if I did!! I'm simply combining my favorite show with my favorite movie in the most *epic* of ways.
