7 Works in Rich Goranski/Original Character(s)
Jared Kleinman has been making the five things lists since he could count to five. It just...helps.
He has secrets, yes, but Jared can handle it. Jared learned how to hide and lie about what really happens to him, he knows how to be happy around that, he has nothing to worry about. He has life under control.
He's got this...right?
"Then show me.”
Jared met Connor's eye, "What?"
"Show me. If there isn't anything to see, you shouldn't mind.”
Jeremy is your typical loser kid. He's tall, unattractively skinny and still has braces stuck to his teeth. Not to mention, he's best friend with the school stoner, Michael Mell. Someone like Jeremy would never win the heart of the beautifully young, and passionate Christine Canigula, a gem amongst the rough rock of Middle Borough High. And he's right. He can't.
But when the new kid arrives at school, winning everyone's heart at first glance, comes to school, Jeremy's school life turns completely upside down when the eyes of the new kid lands on him. Going on a journey tasting the brilliance of High School Fame, Jeremy isn't quite sure he could return to his once humble life being pushed around alongside his best friend.
Its been four years since the Squip Incident, and I'm now a college junior. I’m clicking around on my laptop, idly sipping my coffee, when a face I haven’t seen in years approaches me.
“Um, hi. I see you sitting here all the time, which is probably creepy, but I just transferred here at the beginning of the semester and you seem like a nice person,” he says with a familiar lisp. “I’m Rich, Rich Goranski.”

Timothy has been wanting to see Rich again after few years of awkwardness; he was finally courageous enough to talk to the hunky rockstar, especially when Goranski showed immediate interest.
Dating him would have to mean bending the rules, and little Kleinman was willing to do anything to make Rich his soulmate.
“I’m glad you’re okay,” Alex said abruptly, voice still hushed. Rich peered back at her with wide eyes. She kept her gaze firmly on the floor. “I––you scared me at the Halloween party, running around and screaming and just… I thought––I thought you might have died. I don’t know what would have happened if––if you had. I don’t know how I would have been after, knowing I was there and could have done something maybe or––” She cut herself off with an inhale, barely wincing as her voice got louder.
“You would have been fine—I was an asshole,” he responded, a melancholy in his tone. “I think it might have been––“ Best? He wasn’t sure.
Alex shook her head. “No. You had a crappy piece of technology stuck in your head that had convinced you that––that you were bad and that’s––that wasn’t you. You’re a good person, Rich.”
“I don’t feel like one.”
“Good people never do. You’re learning. You weren’t a good person, externally, last November, but you’re a good person now in April. You’ve––you’ve definitely changed, and for the better. You’re different and… I like this you better. The real you.”
