A rewrite of The Walking Dead, in the A/B/O world. However I am mostly focusing on Daryl, and his life as an Omega. I still wanted to clearly have the world itself be A/B/O. There is canon divergence, a few pairings that change and of course just some fun times. I don’t own any of the characters, the world in which A/B/O is set is clearly not my own but there will be some of my own A/B/O canon. I hope you enjoy it!
Just so you know - I am going to be attempting all the season, timelines will be changed (who knows the true TWD timeline anyway), relationships will be swapped, ages maybe fudged, and some things may be fudged or swapped, characters may be in a place they weren’t or removed from a place they were. Characters will live/die earlier later
A note -
Omegas are extremely rare
Betas have been able to sometimes successfully carry an Alphas pup to full term but it was rare in the world of hospitals and sterilization, so it is harder now in the apocalypse.Some A/B/O worlds have an age in which pups show their alignment, in mine they are aligned with their second gender at birth, however Omegas present as beta until their first heat which usually takes place at ages 8-10

Daryl shoved his hand away and stepped back. "There ain't no relaxin'. Not anymore." His eyes narrowed to thin slits and he went to gather his jacket up in his arms. "I ain't stayin'."
"That's a… real shame." In a split second, Daryl was slammed against the wall headfirst, his vision going blurry as dizziness filled his mind. His jacket dropped to the floor, then was cast aside by stable feet. "Because, I want you to stay."
As Daryl's eyes slid closed, he could hear the maniacal laughter from his father, and the scars along his back burned at the memory.Or, Daryl is left behind during the attack on Woodbury to retrieve Glenn and Maggie, but instead of having to fight his brother to the death, the Governor takes Daryl as his own.

Newcomers fold into the group and from then on, no matter what, their lives are intertwined with those of Rick's people, for better or worse.
Daryl and the Nurse can't seem to leave one another's orbit, no matter how different they are. Something starts between them that might just save them both in the end.

Whether that was a good or a bad thing remained to be seen.

It was a new tactic Sam picked up ever since Quackity convinced the Warden to lock Techno in with him. Dream thought he'd chase Quackity out the second he showed up, with how messy Sam got last time he saw the duck. But Sam had apparently listened and now Technoblade was locked up in there with him. Dream hadn't told Techno about Sam raping him. Sam had cameras in the cell and he could barely tell him anything at all. He'd managed with a few books, shared secretly when Sam wasn't around.
