If I was better at drawing this would probably be better as a comic, but there you go. We can't have everything we want!
This is mostly going to be angsty fluff I think, but I'm writing it as I go, so we'll see!
It has been two weeks since the dinner at The Ritz, and Aziraphale hasn't seen Crowley in two weeks when suddenly a very large and friendly snake appears in the bookshop...

    Summary

The facts were spread out in front of Crowley like a fortune teller's deck.

Aziraphale was missing. Not a soul remembered or knew who the angel was and, for the first time in six thousand years, Crowley was well and truly alone.

    Summary

Crowley was no idiot, so it didn’t exactly surprise Aziraphale when he said, after a long, silent pause, “…Who did you knew, Aziraphale?”

    Aziraphale did not reply.

“I know it’s not me, because as we just established, I remember. I would’ve remembered you, but no— We met in Eden. So, who is it?”

“…I’m not sure,” Aziraphale muttered, fingers tightening on the edge of the desk. Crowley grunted.

“Don’t bullshit me,” he said, voice low. “I didn’t get mad at you for asking, but I will get mad at you for this. Who is it, Aziraphale?”

“I—“ Aziraphale worked his throat, nervously looked up. “…Beelzebub.”

    What?”

    Written for Book Omens Week.

Crowley and Aziraphale drink quite a bit, this time for pleasure rather than for the stress, and fall asleep on the sofa in the back room of the bookshop.

They wake up with terrible hangovers.

    Summary

Neither angels nor demons did remember the time before the first war, neither side did know why exactly that was the case, but no one cared either. It had never been a problem, but now it was. Neither heaven nor hell knew what was coming for them. But they would very soon and let’s just say that it was going to be a surprise.

Or the Them find someone in the woods and everything just spirals downwards from then on.

    Summary

In burning Agnes Nutter's second book of prophecies, Anathema and Newt discover a mysterious page that refuses to go up in flame. Atop it is written a poem which neither, at that time, can hope to understand.

Something is happening, wheels are turning, and neither Heaven nor Hell are wont to forgive and forget. An Angel and a Demon are very much in danger of losing one another.

    Summary

The Apocalypse didn’t happen and everything at least seemed to settle down for Aziraphale and Crowley.
    Well until it didn’t.

Beings between angels and demon shouldn’t exist. They cannot exist, but there they are and for those who remember returned from their grave.

This is a story about flaming swords, butterflies and memories but also about mistrust, lies and betrayal.

Because the devil never speaks the truth and he never had.

How can you trust someone who cast you down from heaven after he had claimed to love you for so long?

How can you live with the pain that the person you loved for an eternity doesn’t remember you and you need to build it all anew?

    But mostly.

How can you live with the loss of a child?

And how can do you deal with it when you uncover that they never had been dead in the first place?

    Crowley was right.

God does indeed play games with the universe.

And She seems to love it.

    Summary

When one’s lifespan is as vast as either Crowley’s or Aziraphale’s, time begins to lose its significance. Hours blend into minutes and years are indistinguishable from weeks. Yet, memories of the past seem to be cemented into the conscious- especially when snippets of eating pastries with an angel warmed by the sun arise. Memories bleed into everyday life, encouraging the angel and the demon to reminisce on oysters by the sea and crepe dates following devastating wars. When it seems that remembering these tender moments doesn’t satisfying the duo’s desire to be in each other’s company, they embark on a journey around the globe with stops at modernized towns and revolutionized cities that were once flooded by She herself or torn down during Roman-aged wars. Perhaps flying in a giant tin can does terrify Crowley, and Aziraphale might have his own mischievous side when it comes to booking their rooms, but meals spent seaside and drained bottles of wine more than account for awkward silences that follow surprised hand-holding and shared reassurances following nightmares.

In which a certain angel and a certain demon find themselves with more free time and space than they know how to deal with after the almost apocalypse- and find that their relationship is most certainly not going to go back to the status-quo. Not that either seems to mind.

AKA A very fluffy and selfish account of them being in love

    Summary

In 1020, Aziraphale and Crowley came up with the Arrangement. On the surface, the Arrangement detailed how they’d stay out of each other’s way and lend a hand when needed. Both tasks would still be completed, still reported to their respective head offices. But neither would truly face the other, could keep reporting to head office how they were keeping the opposition from interfering. But further in, the Arrangement was in its essence, a marriage contract. Not necessarily in the way that humans might use the word marriage. But for Crowley and Aziraphale, it meant that whatever came next, however long they had left, it would be with each other.

    Summary

Apocalypse averted, Aziraphale and Crowley are free to do what they want. Whatever they want. They just have to figure out what that is. And who they are, apart and together. No one planned on not having any plan and there are a lot more questions than there are answers. But at least they have each other.

    ...Don't they?

    Summary

Crowley starts seeing his angel form in the mirror. It starts as a walk-by glance and suddenly disappears. He doesn't know what to do with it, all of those memories were taken away, but they come back to him in pieces, digging up all sorts of things.

Then God appears to him of all people. She says that she forgives him, that she had forgiven him long ago, and that she never stopped loving him. She says that he and Aziraphale are to be the protectors of Earth as they have been for her so far.

Everything hurts, and nothing makes sense- so just another new millennia really.

    Summary

The Earth gets a short reprieve. Thirty years after a failed Armageddon we must face The Big One, as Heaven and Hell, working together, enact a plan to fix the world or destroy it forever. Meanwhile, Aziraphale and Crowley discover that truly being on their own side has more implications than they’d ever have guessed.

A narrative of certain events leading up to The Big One, in strict accordance, as shall be shown, with the nice and accurate prophesies of Agnes Nutter, witch.

    Summary

During the taxi ride back to the bookshop, Aziraphale considered the many ways in which he’d left the Ritz over the years. The first time: contented and excited to tell Crowley about it, to perhaps share it with him. Several subsequent times: alone, but with the delightful memory of an afternoon or evening basking in Crowley’s company and attention. After that: with Crowley, walking through London, to the bookshop or to a museum, talking and sharing time. Once, eleven years ago: in Crowley’s Bentley for a night of drinking and plotting to avert the apocalypse.

This was the first time they’d taken a cab together.

    Summary

A little over six months after the world didn't end, two angels show up at the bookstore claiming they only want to talk – though what they want to talk about quickly sends both Crowley and Aziraphale careening down a path of doubt, exploration, and, ultimately, freedom.

Carla Wright was not one of the many devoted postal workers who worked tirelessly to ensure the mail reached its destination in time, intact, and untampered with. Carla Wright was the kind of postal worker who read people's personal letters when she was bored. The front of today's most promising envelope said "Anthony J. Crowley" in beautiful calligraphy, while the return address was simply a bookshop.

“What if,” Aziraphale said, “We were always meant to have choices? We just...didn't imagine we could. What if Heaven and Hell are just, are just choices? You're the one who's always saying that it's just names for sides. What are the sides even about anyway?”

Crowley's muffled voice came from the pillow. “I feel like I'm the one who's supposed to ask that stuff.”

Aziraphale and Crowley, after leaving Tadfield and before meeting at St. James Park at 11:30 on Sunday, work through what it means for the world not to have ended and what might come next.
