Blue. It seemingly spreads for miles, painting every corner of Noctis’ vision in soft waves that gently caress at the horizon. The rays of the sun bask everything he can see in a warm glow, glistening on the surface of the water in a way that almost seems magical to him, and sunset is no doubt surely soon around the corner given how they extend idyllically and turn increasingly golden. The sea air is wonderfully crisp against his skin as it begins to lose its heat, and the smell of salt from the Cygillan Ocean is refreshing in a way so dissimilar to the smell of Insomnia that Noctis can’t help but be slightly enamoured with it.
Twelve years have passed since Noctis and Lunafreya have last seen each other. Finally, the opportunity arises for them to reunite in Altissia, and Noctis and his retinue have a brief heart-to-heart on the way there.
