EXT. ELSINORE - NIGHT - MODERN DAY - ACT ONE SCENE ONEWE OPEN on a Danish Castle in the middle of the night. It stands formidable against a starry sky. A few guards are smattered around the snowy ground. Street lights illuminate the grounds. A statue of the late King Hamlet stands in the center of the courtyard.
CUT TO:
INT. ELSINORE - PLATFORM - NIGHTFRANCISCO stands at guard. He shivers in the cold air. Behind him, BERNARDO enters and catches a glance of Fransico’s form.

Its literally the play Hamlet but I rewrote it as a novel in (mostly) modern English because god gave me free will and I'm gonna make him regret it. Lines from the original play have been edited to make it more readable for audiences that aren't over 400 years dead, but the plot is the same. Each chapter will (likely) be one scene.
