Harry Potter was a contrary creature. He'd learned young that anything Vernon Dursley said the opposite was likely to be true. So when he turned his teacher's hair blue - magic according to his classmates - and Vernon decried that "There Was No Such Thing As MAGIC" Harry knew that magic was real - more that magic was what he had. A Grey Harry story.
This is the story of a coronation of a Monarch, a King-Emperor who shall bring the Empire of Albion to new heights of glory and magic. This is a story of Harry Potter taking the steps he long thought he would one day be forced to take. This is a story of the start of the future.

Harry was finally, months after being tossed eighty-five years into the past, starting to settle into his new life and routine.
Too bad that just as things were starting to settle for him personally, events started to kick-up globally that he knew were only ticking down to the outbreak of war, leaving him scrambling to do everything he reasonably could think of to try and mitigate the damage - even if it meant taking steps that a year ago he never would've considered let alone predicted.

The British Wixen world lived in peace, and yet, Harry's world kept shrinking a bit more everyday. He was twenty-seven and had grown up hearing about "those dark bastards, always trying to restrict muggle and muggle-born rights", but... Harry would have liked to be able to use his magic whenever he felt like it too, especially at home. But Lily didn't like the greatness of the Potter Manor and James hadn't found anything bad about living in the cottage in the muggles-wixes mixed village of Godric's Hollow. Politics, however, were shifting, and old Lords and Ladies were stepping down and letting the new generations take charge of the Family Magics, and maybe Dumbledore's new opponent in the Wixengamot, Lord Gaunt, might be able to get things moving? Harry wondered and observed.

Harry Potter was nothing like the world expected him to be. He's slowly changing the game of how the world works; exposing secrets, lies, and plots no one wanted to know about but will have no choice but to accept and silently growing a following to right so many wrongs.

“I may not know Muggle composers, but I do know Muggle philosophers: ‘Man is by nature a political animal’,” Harry hissed softly. “But, I have no interest in being an animal. I want to be a monster, and I think you know the game far better than the way you’re playing.”
Harry’s eyes widened, and his breath was strangled in his lungs. He waited for Riddle to respond, wondering if he’d played his hand too early.
But, then, Riddle tilted his head, and a terrifying smile crossed his face.
“Mr. Potter, you are not what I expected,” Riddle said.
“Good. Do I have your attention, Mr. Riddle?” Harry asked.
Riddle’s smile grew wider. It was all teeth.
