Summary
Randall Thorpe walks the line between prophecy, past-life memory and performance-enhancing drugs on his hard road to Armageddon.
This is a source parody of the Wheel of Time, which means that I replaced elements of RJ with direct excerpts from other works that inspired him. In some cases I took creative license with sources to be funny (the Jodie Foster Contact scene in 6). In other cases I have real evidence for the correspondence: a very-similar name, idea, character, phrase or scene. Some are guesses that I want to believe (Machin Shin in 7).
I had the most fun with the dream sequences and the names.
The result: a tangled mix of PC Hodgell, Morgaine, Dune, Thomas Covenant, Tom Stoppard, TS Eliot, Viriconium (which is in turn based on Eliot), I think some Zelazny, 80s horror films, Philip K Dick, Kabbalah, Plato, prayer, history, word roots and original myth, draped on the skeleton of the Wheel of Time.
Enjoy.
