Summary
Tommy had lived in this tower his whole life, along with his older brother dream. Dream had taken him in at a young age, when his biological family had abandoned him, Dream was his savior from death. Tommy owed his life to dream, and he knew this, oh he knew this well. Dream protected him, Dream cared for him, and without Dream, Tommy would be nothing. A dead man so to say. So maybe that's why it took Tommy so long to ask to go listen to the music.
Every year on the day Dream said Tommy's birthday was, music played. The type of music that made you want to get up and dance along to it. Though it was never loud enough for Tommy to do so, and Dream never let him out to go listen. But maybe now that hes sixteen, Dream might let him. Bring him to go see the music, and hell show him some of the world. Tommy could hide his bright colored feathers easily with a cloak of some sorts. So maybe this year Dream would say yes.
Tommy wasn't aware how wishful this thinking was at the time, he wish he did though.

"You're gonna kill me before the guards do," Techno jokes. He gets a jab to the ribs in reply. He flinches a bit, but honestly the punishment was well deserved.
"You're not going to fucking die," Wilbur hisses. He pauses a bit as if the thought is hard for him to comprehend before tacking on, "Not now, at least."
Techno lets out an exaggerated breath in reply. They seem to pause, but the world keeps moving. The clock steps with rhythm, the heavy tick, tock of it's machinery drilling itself into Techno's skull. He wants the clock to stop, to grant the two one small moment of peace. Time, however, stops for no man. The poor and misfortune hear its beats as it haunts their every step, while the rich ignore time's will. In the end, Techno supposes, they will all be the same, but will the rich suffer like the two had? Will they know what it feels like to know your next day might be your last, that your next second might be your downfall just because you exist??
No. No, they do not.

Summary
As a brute, Techno has many important jobs to do within his bastion. Primarily, he needs to protect them, he needs to be a leader, and so he tries his best to do so, with varying degrees of success. Techno's life is average for a piglin brute, but he is not a fan. He needs change, and he needs to do something with his life, although he still wants to do right by his pack. Techno expects to live an average life, until he meets someone unlike he had ever met before; the winged human, Philza, who he immediately becomes friends with. Quickly, Techno realizes that his life is changing, and that it will change with Phil.
While this is in the same series as the other two stories, this is a prequel, and therefore you don't need to read the other two parts to understand the story, although it will give you some context.

I've been reading a lot of Space SBI fics recently and I became possessed by the writing ghost.
Inspired by the great and wonderful Human Error series, by teeth_eater. If you (somehow) have not read it, go do it right now! It's way better than my writing lol
Expect a healthy mix of story, angst, and fluff! Tommy's been through some shit and he goes through some shit, but this is overall a happy story.
As always, this is NOT RPF, this is based on the characters that these content creators portray. If any of the CCs wish, I will take the fic down, no questions asked. Feel free to share this with whomever you like!
I've changed the original title ("This ship is fucking weird") because I didn't particularly want swearing in the title. The first chapter has inherited the name.

"its hot" Tubbo mumbled. 'ahh, I'm running a fever...' the boy thought feeling his rising temperature and dizzy head. but its strange... he felt more heat coming from his chest than any other part of his body.
"it hurts..." its getting harder to breath. his chest is very tight, suffocating him. getting teary eyed, the heat was burning his inside. it was just to HOT!
*shaky breathes* p-please... somebody.
"I, Martha the mystic greet our star." a Woman appeared out of thin air. a wave of magic radiated from her and the heat in Tubbo's body felt more bearable, now the heat circulated throughout all of his body so its bearable but still painful.
"who are you?." the boy asked weakly.
"I am your family Tubbo. And I've come to help you in your incarnation awakening" she said
"I'm hear to take you home. in Mianite"
'Mianite... I think I remember that place... wait. no.. no, no! I can't leave the this realm yet!'

He followed the sound like a dog until he found a wooden door to perhaps a storage room or basement with a large rock and debris over the top, it was still rattling, something was trying to get out and like clockwork, Phil immediately pushed the blackstone off the door and opened it, swinging the door as it clacked to the ground and there, in the dark of the storage room, was a little piglin, it looked no older than six, and Phil’s heart was pulled.
The fear in the little child's eyes nearly broke his heart in two, instinct taking over him almost instantly but the moment Phil took a step forward, the piglin took three steps back with a slight growl escaping their throat and Phil froze, tucking his wings in closer to not seem intimidating. “Hey there, mate.” He spoke with a kind voice and open palms.
Or...
Phil finds an orphaned piglin child and takes him home. Yoink.
