Summary
Piccolo and Krillin get sucked into a parallel universe where they find themselves on planet Vegeta. To occupy themselves until their friends rescue them through the Dragonballs, they join the palace guards. After they have learned of Freezer's plan to conquer the Saiyans by defeating Vegeta (and marrying him afterwards) in an old ritual courting tournament the King revived because Vegeta refused to choose a mate on his own, they know they have to do something. Piccolo decides to fight - and win - the tournament.

Piccolo und Krillin werden in ein Paralleluniversum geschleudert, wo sie sich auf dem Planeten Vegeta wiederfinden. Um sich die Zeit zu vertreiben, bis ihre Freunde sie mit den Dragonballs wieder nach hause holen, schließen sie sich der Palastwache an. Nachdem sie jedoch von Freezers perfidem Plan erfahren, die Saiyajin zu unterjochen, indem er Vegeta in einem alten Werbungs-Turnier besiegt (und ihn anschließend heiratet), welches der König wieder auferstehen ließ, weil Vegeta sich weigert, einen Gefährten zu nehmen, beschließen sie, dass sie eingreifen müssen. Piccolo meldet sich für das Turnier mit dem festen Vorsatz, dieses auch zu gewinnen.

When the others want to stop his rampage, the instinct driven monkey only recognises his lover and then thinks it's a good idea to keep the pretty little toy for the rest of the night. Piccolo isn't so enthusaistic.

Auf dem Weg zum gemeinsamen Training entdecken Vegeta und Piccolo eine versteckte Höhle, in der sich ein mysteriöses Artefakt (Jäger des Verlorenen Schatzes lässt grüßen) befindet, das die beiden plötzlich auf Miniaturgröße schrumpft. Nicht nur, dass sie sich jetzt durch die Wildnis schlagen müssen, um Hilfe zu finden, sie merken plötzlich auch auf recht drastische Weise, dass sie sich zueinander hingezogen fühlen.
