Summary
Draco and Hermione reconnect a few years after the war (an au where Draco ended up joining the other side). Draco suffers from memories of his abusive childhood and drug addiction. Hermione helps but isn't his only reason to get better or the one thing that redeems him (because it isn't a partner's job to fix someone). It's going to be angsty and dramatic, so be warned.
This fic is heavily inspired by the Patrick Melrose novels by Edward St Aubyn
