Sequel to my story: Lost & Found!
Follows Jisbon through parenting years. Lots of fluff and some angsty (and sometimes suspenseful) plot twists. Glimpses of Jane family when kids are young, then as teens, and up to adulthood. References the first fic from time to time, but offers enough explanation that can be read as stand-alone, too (though I really hope you do read the first one :) ). T/M some hinted sexy scenes - occasional language. -

Summary
He stares out the vastness and beauty of the Grand Canyon and with the warmth of his tea between his hands for a moment he feels peace.
It’s perfect.
And then his phone shatters the illusion, a shrill reminder of everything he’s running from. He hits decline on her call and looks back out at the view in front of him but all it’s taken is a five second glimpse of her face on his phone screen to completely rob him of that sense of peace.
Now he simply feels hollow again.

Post-script to episode 4.22 - "So Long and Thanks for All the Red Snapper"
As much as Jane enjoyed teasing Lisbon in front of her ex-fiance Greg, he didn't like the wistful looks he'd been seeing on her face during the course of the investigation. He was concerned his partner was second-guessing her life choices. It was breaking his heart. A one-shot occurring at the end scene and after the episode. What if Jisbon had happened then? Short and fluffy.
This is the first installment of my first attempt at a series: one-shots that take flirts or longing looks or other Jisbon undercurrents from pre-6.23 episodes, and imagine what it would've looked like if our favorite couple had gotten honest earlier than in canon. Some may end up branching into separate multi-chapters outside of this series, but currently not the goal :)

Summary
He’s silent but she sees the moment he comes back to himself. It’s in his posture, his breathing, the very air around him; everything changes somehow.
She waits for him to say something but the silence persists and he remains frozen in the doorway, barely moving but for the subtle rise and fall of his shoulders along with his breath.

Summary
"There were no more somedays. Jane was gone and most likely dead. Teresa's head hurt almost as much as her throat did. She needed to get out of the building and think… get some perspective… maybe run away with the carnival… maybe fly back home to Chicago… Maybe... start looking for Jane on the sly..."
Set in season 6, in the aftermath of Red John's murder. Angry and adrift, Lisbon deals with her grief by developing a plan of her own to save Jane, wherever the hell he is. Eventual Jisbon. T/M-a sexy scene or two/occasional language. (cross-posted under same pseud on ffnet) -

Summary
‘Hey, Lisbon. I need you to come in today,” comes Cho’s even voice through the speaker.
Jane lets out a huff, already knowing what his wife will undoubtedly end up agreeing to. Lisbon shoots him an exasperated glance, her hand coming up to cover his mouth.
“I’m off today. I have plans,” she tells her former subordinate, all the while ignoring her partner’s frown beneath her palm.
“I’m sorry,” Cho says through the phone. “But we have a new high profile case and we're too green. I need you to be the team lead on this one.”
Picking up a couple of odd weeks after the finale, our favourite duo is once again tasked with solving a dangerous case. When someone’s life is inevitably put on the line, will they be able to crack the case in time?

My take on what happens after Jane and Lisbon's kiss in the interrogations room. Fluff, fluff and more fluff.
WARNING: The story mentions suicidal thoughts towards the end. I don't think it's particularly jarring, but keep it in mind before you decide to read.

She’s still getting used to how it sounds herself and she’s been so focused on not looking like a schoolgirl who just found out her crush likes her back every time he calls her his wife that she hasn’t really paid much attention to his own demeanor. Until one day she goes to introduce herself to a laborer he’s hired to help with the remodel of their cabin and is cut off by him practically running to her side to say, “This is my wife, Teresa.”

She takes his hand as she leads him towards the dance floor and it helps, just a little, to ease the knot in his chest that still feels far too tight for comfort, despite his reassurance to her that he will focus on the now.
Still, he keeps it ambiguous at first, leaving a safe amount of distance between their bodies; a plausible front for platonic if they need it. They could just be co-workers dancing.
