Summary
Follows Zuko's journey as he tries to integrate into to gaang starting with the Western Air Temple. Stayed very loyal to the show timeline with some obvious embellishments. This is a precursor to my later series with lots of relationship details that might be helpful for my later series when Zukka is full force!

Summary
After his duel, Zuko had fled to the Earth Kingdom where he has been living for the past 3 years, living as a farmer and a healer after being adopted by a nice Earth Kingdom family, presumed dead by the Fire Nation when disappearing while injured, giving Iroh a chance to keep Azula from staying loyal to her father. Given a chance to heal & find people who genuinely care about him with no ties or loyalty to his father, he is able to be saved from growing bitter and jaded after years of failing at a mission. Using his alias as The Blue Spirit as a healer who has learned to use firebending to heal as opposed to as a thief and assassin, he is able to influence views on firebending from both the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes as wells as firebenders themselves. He comes across the Gaang in the harbor town he has been living in, connecting with them as a healer who still remembers how to fight from what his life used to be, joining their cause before they even reach the Northern Water Tribe.
This is a series, I have posted a summary at the end of the 1st part if you don't want to read Zuko's recovery arc. I would suggest reading it, but it isn't plot heavy and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.

Summary
“Hello there!” The kid’s head shot up, their body freezing. Big eyes staring back at him. Well, one eye actually. The other one was still pulled fairly closed, the side of their face covered in a heck of a burn scar. How does a kid get a scar like that?
“Do you live close to here? If you don’t, it looks like rain, I don’t mind giving you a ride if-“ The kid had already run off. In the opposite direction. And into the woods.
Because a strange man in a minivan had pulled up and asked where they live and offered to give them a ride, stellar work there Hakoda.
At least the kid had some survival instincts.Zuko needs a new dad, and Hakoda volunteers. Some scenes spanning Zuko's old life, new life, and beyond

Summary
The man stared for a long time. The smile he bore had been completely wiped clean as he studied the scarring. Zuko’s skin itched with anxiety at the odd attention he was given and shot a scowl at the warrior, startling him out of his thoughts. The man offered an apologetic yet awkward smile as he patted his chest and started to speak. It took Zuko a moment to realize that what was being said was a very horribly butchered attempt at Fire Nation formal language. A horrendous introduction.
“My name is Sokka, son of Chief Hakoda.” He introduced with what the savage may have thought was casual ease judging by the sideways smile and the warmth in his eyes. Then proceeded to ask, pointing at Zuko to get his meaning across. “Your name is Li, right?”
‘Okay so they don’t know who I am.’ Zuko didn’t let his sigh of relief show as he nodded slowly in confirmation.
Or
Zuko slips into the scouting party that is sent on a mission to gather intel on an Earth Kingdom encampment only to be ambushed by Water Tribe warriors and taken as a prisoner of war. Zuko finds himself masquerading as Private Li, the Fire Nation scout as he receives a one way trip to the South Pole.

Summary
He had no time for such letters and he needn't to read it.The letter was sent from Iron. when his son was still sailing, not running around with the Avatar. pitching the bride of his nose, Ozai grabbed the tea cup before sipping. He glared some more at the wall of his office before the candle melted as the flame grew more and more with each irritated breath he took. What was that letter anyways ? ' probably related to Zuko' A voice whispered in his ear.
The voice was right. It was probably about his son who had also betrayed him and his nation.
Ridiculous.
He was "not" going to read that letter.
( In witch Zuko is raped by Zhao. Iroh had hoped that Ozai would be a father and respond. Protect his son because Zuko had been far too damaged. And Ozai doesn't read the letter but now after two years, he found it on his desk. He doesn't know what's going on and that letter might just change everything. )
Side note : Zuko already joined the gaang and talked with Iroh. Iroh is in White Lotus and preparing. Sozin combat is two years away by the way, so Aang and the others still have time to prepare.although it might not even need preparation, if only Ozai would stop being a bitch and read that shit. -

Summary
The water tribes think of soulmates as family. The earth kingdom sees them as a special relationship. The air temples used to see them as sacred. The fire nation used to be as loyal to their soulmates as to their family and Fire Lord. Today, the last two are a distant memory and those with soul marks are a clear minority. But what happens when, despite all odds, six soulmates find each other across borders and beliefs?
A platonic soulmates AU where the Gaang are soulmates. -

It's been just over a year since the Kyoshi Warriors left the Fire Nation to help Team Avatar keep the balance (and the peace) in the rapidly growing and conflict-prone Cranefish Town (new name still TBD - Sokka's working on it). That is until something happens that gives her no choice but to face those feelings head-on.

Summary
After rescuing a half-drowned Fire Nation prince, Hakoda makes the difficult decision to leave his ship and return home to Southern Water Tribe. But Zuko turns out to be less of a political bargaining chip and more of a traumatized, angry teenager—much like Sokka and Katara are no longer the children Hakoda remembers leaving behind two years ago.
Or, pre-series Zuko is captured by the Southern Water Tribe and Hakoda ends up with an unexpected moral dilemma, a boatload of politics, and three surly teenagers under his roof.
