    Summary

Hannibal has everything under perfect control, as he always does. Or so he thinks. He certainly doesn't need anyone in his life to see him in his entirety, not until he had the great misfortune to be enticed into the ocean of Will Graham's eyes.

Certainly not even Will Graham could accept him as he was, even if he sees.

He was unaware of how wrong he could be. Will has his own demons that come to play. Maybe if he simply asked they could play nicely with Hannibal's darkness, just perhaps.

    Set during Season 1

    Summary

Gentle. That was the word the monster had used. Will would hold onto that word as if it were the only thing in the universe. Because it was gentle. Each skim of lips and trace of tongue, each brush of fingers and dip of hips were nothing but gently maddening, sending Will so far into himself that he thought he would never be found again, only to be pulled back by books and wine and a weightless timelessness, free of the rules of physics and mathematics.

Will suffers from a case of amnesia after the fall and attempts to kill Hannibal whenever he relapses.

    Summary

    The cliff is high
    The water deep
And when we lay our souls to sleep
Fly them as flags at half mast
We are alive but we have passed

“...He looks like he is going to unravel at the seams, unclean and unkept and so very pale, but in the dappled light of morning Will could be Galatea’s brother. It brings warmth to his skin and livens him in a way impossible to capture in the moment, in pencil or otherwise, in the likeness of ivory or marble. It makes the brown of his hair glow, highlights of faint gold, or was that the glare, was that the blur of sleep in Hannibal’s eyes?...”

Or, in admittedly less poetic terms, a Post-Fall fic in which Hannibal still can’t just say things and Will becomes increasingly exasperated and confused. Typical shenanigans.

Updates on Saturday, subject to occasional changes.

    Summary

What if Hannibal never consulted for the FBI and they met on their way to a forensic psychology conference instead?

    _____

“Are you headed to LA for business or pleasure,” he asked.

Will was relieved to see that the rude man’s shoulders were pointed toward the aisle seat. After perhaps a second too long, the man on the aisle said “neither” in a neutral, clipped way. And Will detected an accent somewhere in the word – the r was much softer than an American might say it. “I am not going to LA at all, merely transferring planes.”

“Are you headed to Hawaii for that CSI conference then?”

“CSI…” the man replied, confused but with no real curiosity behind the prompt.

“Well the stewardess said something about a forensics conference.”

“Ah yes,” came the velvety voice, “forensic psychology. Yes, I am attending that conference.”

“So what is that then, forensic psychology?”

“It’s the study of humans – why they do what they do.” The man paused for a moment, then added, somewhat pointedly: “Specifically, why they kill.”

    Summary

"The mission is simple, we need someone to go undercover and get into Lecter's crew. We need you to find an in and work yourself up the ladder. We've received information that there's a war coming in between Lecter and the Bratva, and I don't think I have to tell you that if that happens there's no containing all the casualties that will be the result, do I?"

    --

When special agent Jack Crawford says jump, all Will Graham can do is ask how high. When he says "go infiltrate the Lithuanian mob without proper mission perimeter, or a proper way into the family", well, all Will Graham can do is try and keep his head above water.

    Summary

He felt a little silly, sitting in the curtained booth, knowing the priest was on the other side. “I . . . don’t know how to start this,” Will admitted after an uncomfortable minute.

Father Lecter hummed. “There is the usual beginning--Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. And then you would cite the number of days since your last confession. In this instance, however,” his voice grew warm, “we can forgo some formalities.”

    Summary

The frigid air that met his hands and face filled him with joy. He attempted to scream out for help, but could only wretch as freezing pond water erupted from his lips. He struggled through the water mindlessly, gagging and sputtering, until he trudged through mud and dirt to the shore of the lake.

Will heaved desperately for air on his hands and knees. His body trembled from exertion, until the adrenaline no longer kept his limbs working. He collapsed onto his side and curled in on himself, trembling from the cold air on his bare skin. He was naked. He was cold. He was alone.

The realization that he was drenched in both water and blood was the last thing Will remembered before a grating electronic noise swelled in his ears.

    Summary

Daring to take an Introduction to Visual Arts class, a completely blind Will Graham ventures into The Walters Art Museum for an assignment. Two years later, Will visits the museum every other Friday, fixated on both the voice and the beauty and knowledge his favorite museum had to offer. With the right connections and a true talent, Will scores a gig playing for the museum's latest exhibit reveal. When a recognizable voice makes the opening presentation, Will is overwhelmed with feelings and dreamed up possibilities. What happens when the voice becomes a real person, who finds Will just as interesting?

Or - the one where Will falls in love with Hannibal's voice before ever meeting him.

    Summary

As unexpected as the uniqueness and flat out irregularity of the doctor’s wardrobe, long arms wrapping around him was the last thing that Will thought would come from his comment. Yet a warm chest and the rhythmic brush of nimble fingers up and down the nobs of his spine affirmed Will’s suspicion that Hannibal Lecter really did pull him into a hug. Will’s arms stayed at his side for a second upon realization before he was quick to raise them and reciprocate.

It didn’t take much for Will to melt into the embrace once he gave in; the sheer stress of the day and the admittedly lovely quality of Hannibal’s hard chest made a killer combination. Their height difference allowed him to rest his face into Hannibal’s neck. His cold nose pressed into unreasonably warm skin and one of Hannibal’s strong hands found the back of his head, encouraging the move.

They stood there, tangled up like vines, for what felt like both milliseconds and years all at once. Hannibal muttered ‘it’ll be okay’ over and over again, his restless thumb making an unknown pattern through the same length of curls with each mumbled phrase.

OR - The 5(+1) in which there's 5 times Hannibal surprises Will & one time Will shocks them all.
